ASJ, one of my librarian friends who is retired is touring Ireland right now. Today she was in Galway. She said that it is a very busy, bustling city.

She was there during Fresher’s Week, all of the first year university students go out in their force to invade the city. I hope she enjoyed Galway, my favourite lil quirky town, and the Emerald Isle and I hope that she comes back soon.

Offline I had an incredibly vivid dream last night, the most vivid I’ve had in a while.*
Basically, @Martha had come back and everyone was very happy about that, she replied back to a PM of mine, and then she said she’d been busy with recording an entire album, which she showed to us.
@Beatlebug then went on a very long rant about ‘where have you been, we’ve missed you!!!’
And then the neighbour’s dog started barking and I woke up.
*possibly because of Martha’s avatar… that’s pretty vivid!

My iPod Touch Generation 5 is going to give up life in about a day or so.

Offline If anyone wants to see total chaos at a major football event please direct your eyes to Glasgow, Scotland on the 28th October when the four biggest teams in Scottish football (that’s Celtic, Aberdeen, Rangers and Hearts) all gather to play two semi-finals at Hampen Park, hours apart (Aberdeen v Rangers at 12pm, Hearts v Celtic at 7:45pm).
If you are thinking “oh, it will be fine” please note that many Aberdeen fans hate Rangers, many Rangers fans hate Celtic and Aberdeen, many Celtic fans hate Rangers and many Hearts fans hate Celtic.
And this has all been agreed by the Scottish Police.

Australian Rules Football grand final tomorrow. One of our State’s teams is in the game. Been crazy all week. Hope they can do it.
As another AFL fan I’m fervently hoping the state team loses because otherwise Melbourne will be terrible to visit in the next month with Collingwood fans roaming in packs. Too well I remember the dark days of 1990. Although it must have been quite awful after Richmond won last year, hmm.
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 
but I may have to get more specific in the future.
