I’m so glad you’re back @Dark Overlord! I missed you while you were out of action. I hope you got my email.
In other news, Silly Dad has gotten tickets for us (me and him) to see Mr Roger Waters in Boston at the end of the month! I’m very excited, even if we’ll have to get up at like four AM to drive to Boston in time for the show. IT’S GONNA BE SO WORTH IT.

@Ron Nasty although I’m feeling better, I think I’ll stick with Dark Overlord because that’s what everybody here knows me as. Also, even though I’m on the forum, can we still talk through Gmail as well because there are some things like personal issues and politics that I’d love to talk with you about but not on the forum.
If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

I got 90s rave. I am so NOT a high-energy extravert. But those sorts of quizzes are totally daft anyway, right?
I re-took it and got Laurel Canyon in the late 60’s/early 70’s.
Joni Mitchell, Crosby Stills and Nash, Carole King, The Eagles, The Byrds, Love, and many other singer-songwriters all converged in the idyllic Laurel Canyon region of Los Angeles in the late ’60s and early ’70s to basically live the hippy dream. The vibe of the scene was very relaxed, and the music was mostly low-key and introspective. It’s basically the one time in pop culture when the coolest thing you could be was an introverted homebody who wanted to be close to nature.
Much better.

You missed out The Doors, @Beatlebug. Jim Morrison’s last US home was in the Canyon.

I didn’t write that, it was on the site.
Funnily enough, none of the music I currently listen to is in that list. Guess I’ll have to check them out some time or other…
Retook it with two different answers and got 70’s rock instead, with this sweet gif.
As I happen to be listening to that particular band right now and the description mentions Bowie and Pink Floyd, I’m much happier with this result, even though the other probably suited my own personality a bit better…
In case you’re wondering, I like seeing how I can manipulate the results of these sorts of quiz things.

The rain comes falling from the sky
To fill the stream that fills the sea
(Never mind that it all came from the sea originally)
Yay hurrycanes! (Said no one in Florida or Puerto Rico. Up here in the North of the South, it’s just a long, slow, lovely rain.)
I hope @The Hippie Chick, @Midori78, and @moriz are okay, though.

All good, just lost a few pieces of siding on the house and there are leaves, twigs, branches and trees everywhere. Our power was knocked out for about a day, but otherwise nothing bad happened. =)
