@BackInTheUSSR I heard that you want an electric guitar, so I thought I’d help you with that.
There are a few things you need to understand before buying one:
1. Dexterity
This is very important, are you right or left handed. If you’re right handed, then buying a guitar will be very simple for you because most guitars are made for right handed people, but if you’re left handed, that sucks for you and you have 3 choices:
1. Play right handed anyways, many guitarists who are naturally left handed do this such as Jimmy Page and Mark Knopfler but it may feel uncomfortable and I don’t recommend it as being a southpaw myself, I don’t feel comfortable playing this way and although I can play just about anything thrown at me with a left handed guitar, have me play right handed and I will have trouble playing those single note drones from Ticket To Ride .
2. Reversing the string order, this is what I used to do before I gave Guitar Center $250 for a Mexican sunburst left handed Fender Stratocaster and it works fine, this is what I’d recommend to a beginner because left handed guitars are harder to find than righties and rarely come in beginner packs, so this is a good way to save money and if you feel embarrassed about it, there are many guitarists who do this such as:

even this guy does it despite being a right handed guitarist already
3. Buy a left handed guitar, I don’t recommend this for beginners due to the expense but once you get good enough, you should do this.
2. Guitar style
There are 2 things to determine when considering this:
1. What shape do you prefer the feel of. For me, I love the feel of a Fender Stratocaster although some prefer the feel of a Gibson Les Paul and some prefer the feel of a hollowbody and some even prefer the feel of a Telecaster or some other guitar model, it’s up to you, go to Guitar Center and try multiple models out to determine your preferred feel.
2. What guitar do you prefer the tone of. I really love the tone of a Fender Stratocaster, especially when it’s driven through a Fender tube amp. I know you really like The Beatles, so here’s a list of guitars they used followed by 5 examples of songs they used them on so you can choose which tone you prefer, as each different guitar model has a slightly different tone to it.
Rickenbacker 325

Gretsch (the model in the picture is the Tennessean, but I am listing songs that use any Gretsch)

Fender Telecaster
3. Your budget
Nothing is more important here than your budget and how much money you are willing to spend. Here are 3 choices:
1. Guitar bundle packs
These come with everything you need and are great for beginners, although the items that come with them are not of the best quality.
Here are some great packs for you:

2. Buy everything separately, a good idea if you have the money, here are the things you will want:
A guitar
An amp
A cable
A pick (they give these away for free)
For beginners, I recommend going for the cheapest option available, such as the Squier Bullet Strat or the Epiphone Les Paul Jr.
Go into your local Guitar Center or wherever you go and buy a guitar and amp, they will gladly throw in a free cable if you ask nicely.
I hope I have helped you on your journey to success.

Best put that in spoilers @Dark Overlord, a hell of a lot of images and text. It could crash older phones with all of the information.

@sir walter raleigh the fact that I had one made me high, of course *eyeroll* — all those lovely open frets to play around on that my acoustic didn’t have!
Your advice is good @Dark Overlord, it just might be a lot to scroll through if you’re not looking for guitar advice.

I thought I’d tell you how my imaginary friends are doing:
HMBeatlesfan moved to New York to help his mother since his father died last month, his father would’ve turned 78 in June, and HMBeatlesfan brought 2 of his friends with him, which means that in that house, there’s an elderly Christian woman and 3 people who were born in the 60’s who like heavy metal, what a combination. It’s a good thing they did this because their landlord was about to call the cops on them for using counterfeit money to pay their rent.
Starr Test is going to marriage counseling because his wife found out he was cheating on a 17 year old, he likes it because it helps his relationship with his wife and he’s also really looking forwards to Sgt. Pepper ‘s 50th anniversary, especially because it lands on his 57th birthday.
sgtpepper63 is doing same as usual, his cousin moved with HMBeatlesfan and he misses both of them but besides that, everything’s the same.

She, they are a transexual. She was in the closet about all that until she came to a realization one day and now was able to make the transition offical.
