@Evangeline: I knew it was a topic that is a bit sensitive, but I never knew it was that sensitive!
EDIT: I think I have found proof it was a particular person, but I won’t share it until someone, anyone, can guarantee me that it won’t a) put me in the bad books, b) cause a ruckus, and c) cause an argument. And that also gives me time to prove to myself that the proof is real, and not my imagination.

Offline It wasn’t a sensitive topic. Rather, it was somewhat divisive. There were those who steadfastly refused to accept anyone else’s point of view to the point where name-calling became involved. If you have time to sift through all of the bullshit in that thread, there were some good points made on both sides. However, the polar opposites became absurd.
There is room for that type of nonsense on the internet, just not here.

Offline There is the argument that the forum has moved on since those times with some of the contributors no longer with us.
The discussion on who was behind the ‘Ahh’s” is not banned in case anyone is thinking such, more there is a negative connotation attached. There is some humour contained in the posts that relate back as it’s either laugh at what it was or have a need to go and down a bottle of whisky.
There was a similar discussion on a line in ‘Penny Lane ‘ until the line isolated was posted during the discussion and it was quickly settled.

If you’re willing to have other people question it then fine. The problem with the old discussion is that proof was posted, folk questioned, arguments and insults flowed in circles.
