These guys should get a special mention in the Darwin Awards. I hope the police truly uses these pics as evidence and arrest them for looting and vandalism.
It'll be simple. Because the idiots were stupid enough to reveal themselves, they could be charged with robbery over $5000, Defacing public property, defacing private property, a myriad of charges. My bet is 5-10 years in prison each.

Happily, I've seen some videos of people (making a futile attempt) to stop looters from smashing shop windows. Again, I KNOW those idiots are not all of Vancouver but seeing someone make an active, valiant attempt to essentially do what's right kinda got me teary eyed.

I love that song. It's part of the soundtrack of my life.
BTW I have loads of work to do, (including Teddy's project) but I need a break, so I'm watching BBC's Sherlock. Not even half the episode and I love it. The guy who plays Sherlock … mhh a bit too much.. I prefer Hugh Laurie's version of Sherlock though.

I noticed they seem to have a really keen interest in U2. Anyways, there was this mocking video of a Bruins fan being obnoxious about not liking the Canucks until he has some kind of epiphany and thinks the Canucks are great. But each of those videos ended with a snippet of the beginning to Where The Streets Have No Name. And do they still use Elevation when they score goals? I never really got to hear much of anything going on save for Game 6 when Boston hosted them.
OK, what I find really weird is that the Bruins are supposed to be this hard-scrabble, lunchbox, blue-collar type team, and yet when they’ve scored at home they play some sort of electronica dance song. Catchy but brings on tons of cognitive dissonance.
And sorry one more thing, but I can tie it to the Beatles in a few sentences: Regarding the riots, someone on a Facebook page trying to ID the looters said that they should all be caught and forced to listen to the Beatles for two hours straight (kids and their short attention spans, heh). Anyways, someone challenged the suggestion with “Hey, I *like* the Beatles,” and the original poster said that those people could stand to learn a few lessons from Beatles music. Let's see “All You Need Is Love ,” “Come Together ,” I'm sure there would be many songs that would make a nice soundtrack.

BEST.
SHOW.
EVER!
Which one is that? It that the recent one? (Sorry, I feel I should know this, being the Holmes buff I claim to be. as Von said, *twenty seconds of Googling later* Yep, I’m right. I love that as well, although the second episode is a bit bad. But the guy who plays Holmes is spot on.

Who doesn't love that show? BBC has some of my favorite TV shows that I've been watching lately. Sherlock, Doctor Who, Torchwood, and the list goes on.

I'll use him to show teens what not to do on Facebook. Or in real life. Ever. And yes, they should listen to the Beatles and learn some of it. Morons.
BTW I defended you SunKing, someone said today “People in Vancouver are losers” and I was like “Heeey I have friends there!!”
re: Holmes. I love, love, love British shows. One of my all time favorite show is Inspector Morse, and last Summer I learned to love The Prisoner, amazing one. I haven't seen Life on Mars, but I plan to. I also like Dr. Who, but alas, it's not available in my cable system anymore. Heck my sister and I even watched Coupling a lot. Oh oh and I got that series with Ciaran Hinds, Above Suspicion…
What I like about British TV is that there are few episodes and the seasons are short.

I’m an Ontarionan from birth (I’ve never been to Vancouver, as much as I wish I could) but I know many people from Vancouver, and it hurts me to see people making pare assumptions on a city based on the acts on about 25 people. They are not Vancouver, they are criminals.
