Offline I like Queen and was wondering something. You see, Brian May used a 1967 Baldwin Double Six 12-string instead of his typical Red Special on the song Long Away, however I think he used his Red Special for the solo, as the guitar solo sounds nothing like a 12-string guitar, what do you think.
Maybe you should try posting more.

Offline I definitely think he changed guitars for the solo, as what I hear sounds impossible on a 12 string. Although I respect Brian Mays playing a lot, despite not being a Queen fan at all.

That’s what I was thinking too, as the lead sounds just like the Red Special, similar to how the electric guitars on Nowhere Man sound like a Strat, here’s a list I made of Queen songs containing electric guitar parts by Brian May that aren’t the Red Special:
Long Away (rhythm guitar on 1967 Baldwin Double Six, lead on Red Special)
Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy (Top Of The Pops version which contains different solo) (Greco Red Special copy)
Crazy Little Thing Called Love (1967 Fender Esquire)
Under Pressure (1967 Baldwin Double Six)
Tear It Up and Hammer To Fall (according to Wikipedia it’s a Gibson Firebird, although I think it’s the Red Special)
Maybe you should try posting more.
