I went to the Ascot Races today and bet £2 on Horse number 9 (obviously) and the horse won! I won £26! The spirit of John must've come down from heaven and won the race for me!
You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.

Offline No post yet? Surprise, anyway I may seem very distracted lately, because I am. I have a project up my sleeve, it's just that right now I'm finding the money for it. (Material's are slightly expensive, so I have to find ways to get money.) So I may just not be around as often, or my posts will seem like my head isn't quite there.

That whole thing unfortunately makes Vancouver look bad, even if it IS only the idiocy of a few and the rest of the fans went home to cry into their Molsons, and it takes away from goddammit, the Bruins winning their first championship in about 40 years.
No need to act like a diabolical toddler whose toy just got stolen right out of his playpen. 
What really scares me are the reports that people *died* during the rioting, though. There's no place for that in a sporting event. I don't care which one it is.

I completely agree. I mean, I’m still mad, I’m still annoyed, but live with it. Kids were there. Show some respect. And what pisses me off most is that they won’t be caught. I know it. They’ll get away with it. And no one wanted this. No one. I was listening to Chez 106 (our local classic rock station) and they have Vancouver folks saying they were fearing for their lives, which shouldn’t happen because of some idiots.

I’ve never had a Molson, but I can tell you that all who drink aren’t alcoholics. 😛 But speaking of beers at bars, Man, I got in too late to have a Sam Adams. But oh well.
What I LOVE (and by LOVE I mean I LOVE their arrogant stupidity) about those looters is that some of them have posted basically “I DID THIS AND HERE’S MY PHOTO!” signs all over their Facebooks. That Brock Anton guy…I shouldn’t know his name is Brock Anton for one thing. What a moron. I hope he gets punished.
THANKFULLY, it now looks like the reports of people dying in all that were completely unfounded.
It’s nice to see some of the Vancouverites help with the clean-up because what an ugly mess the minority left behind, figuratively and literally. Really really sad.
What do you think (if anything) is going to happen to Luongo and the Sedins? I know they all played well during the season and Luongo held his own in 3 of the games. I doubt anyone’s gonna get traded or demoted, but that 12 year contract worth $64 million is probably making the Canucks’ front office go green in the face.

Offline Well after watching the pics of the riots I owe an apology to SunKing, I thought it was just something small, but not what I saw.
These guys should get a special mention in the Darwin Awards. I hope the police truly uses these pics as evidence and arrest them for looting and vandalism.
