I always figured that they were two separate people, because it looks like the people behind the apples in the pictures are two different people. But why don’t we see if @vonbontee and @Von Bontee can clear it up.
The two people are just random folks from a google image search modified with an Apple Records logo on their face – a tribute to both Apple and Rene Magritte. And yeah, I do eat an apple-a-day, but that fact really has nothing to do with my avatars, which were created over a year before I started to eat healthier!

Just pointing out that if she is concerned for me that I like that old “pedo” Elvis, she might want to look in the mirror.
Wow, condescending much? I am not concerned for you for liking “pedo” Elvis, I am confused that you think it is oaky to idolize him and that you encourage people to be more like him. I don’t idolize The Beatles or tell people they should be more like them, so I’m not sure why you’re comparing my afición for The Beatles with yours for Elvis.

Did you guess this or deduce this from clues I’ve given?
(You’re right, and I have given clues.)

No, you told me in a previous post that when you were 10, Constantine became emperor of Rome, giving a 327 YOB and in another post, you claim that you got introduced to The Beatles from The Beatles Rock Band at a very young age.
Strange, I don’t recall playing Beatles rock band at a very young age.
So mathing it out, you consider 14 to be very young, interesting.

There are topics and reasons for moving conversations to threads like this. When conversations get too off topic, especially in serious Beatles-themed threads, we don’t want to let the derail keep going. Think about readers of the future who want to learn about the Beatles and look to this forum and find that the thread they hoped to learn from is mostly useless because of the drivel of the derail.
I am more lenient with getting-to-know each other threads, but even then, some derails don’t need to happen. As @Joe has told the mods, much of it is down to judgment calls on our part. He gives us guidance, positive or corrective, on our decisions.
I am fine with the move in this instance. When people move conversations, I would like for them to put a link to the thread where the original conversation was happening and put a link in the original conversation to where the conversation is being continued.

I find it is better than derailing a thread.
