I made a blunder, and came here to fix it. I was confusing it with U2’s version (which I grew up with), in which the line is sung ‘All I got is a red guitar, three chords, and the truth.’ I now realise that that was a later addition and was not included in either Dylan’s or Hendrix’s version.
It could be worse @Beatlebug , you could be searching for a live version of Japan’s Red Guitar and discover to your chagrin:
