Are you saying that I don’t post here regularly?
But yes, generally speaking, the trend has shifted away from young teens to older teens and adults.

When I first joined the forum it seemed like there were a lot more younger people (like people 13-16 years old). Now I don’t think there are any that young who regularly post here.
The fact that forums are dying probably plays a role as well. I doubt that the average thirteen year old nowadays even knows what an Internet forum is.

My mother thinks that tenors are ‘girly voices’ and she doesn’t like John’s or Paul’s singing that much.
I can’t even
(Tenors are my absolute favourite voice type. I sometimes wish I were one. )

You’d probably just need a big Beatles revival again, I imagine if the internet was as widespread as it is now and this forum was up when Anthology came out it would have exploded with traffic.
Looking at kids/teens, The Beatles will only ever attract like 2 out of 100 in a hardcore Beatle Bibler way. Like I was the freak in secondary school who listened to songs from the 30’s-80’s and kind of everything that came after (bar some things in the late 90’s-early 00’s when I was a wee sprat who absorbed everything), I’m pretty much oblivious to (in the mainstream/chart music that is). Most teens are happy listening to chart music or other alternate stuff but it’s nearly always modern, 2000’s, maybe going back to the 90’s but that’s it. Few is the standard Irish teenager (anyways) who is a hardcore classic rock lover.
The only other way to create more traffic would just be continuously adding more information but sure Joe is doing that anyways- growth will occur naturally overtime

Yeah, it’s pretty much the same with me over here. There’s only really two classic rock-lover students at my school (that I’m aware of), and if you compare that to the total of 500 there, you can see how incredibly appreciative everyone is of the lads and other bands and artists of the time. It’s often difficult being in such a situation, as not many really understand you (except for the odd teacher ), but oh well. What can you do?

I used to report posts all the time for little things like bad grammar or a bad word, but nothing really seemed to come out of those reports so I stopped.
Do they know which member reported the post or is it confidential?
The reports are sent to me only. Yes, I know who they’re from. I haven’t had one in a while but IIRC it says something like “Member XXX reported the following post:”, followed by a link, then a reason.
I wouldn’t action a report about someone’s grammar. This is a forum, not an examination, and it’s not for me to go around correcting other people’s writing. You can take it up with them directly if it bothers you.
I’m not sure what you mean by “a bad word” but I don’t particularly have a problem with swearing as long as it’s not done in a confrontational manner. I don’t want to introduce rules here, but I think we can all tell the difference between colourful language and being obnoxious or vulgar.
The report emails don’t really allow quick replies (I’d have to visit the forum and send a PM, or dig out people’s email accounts) so I tend not to respond to them unless it really requires it. If someone’s properly upset by something someone has said then it’ll get addressed appropriately.

If bad grammar rubs one the wrong way, the last place one would want to be is on an internet forum. It’s akin to having an allergy to pet dander and deciding to embark upon a career as a dog groomer.

I know @Starr Shine? made a script for a BB ad that she brought up a while ago(I cant remember where). We could make that ad a reality.

I have to say that joining this forum actually ameliorated my grammar and spelling.
