(and also, I’m quite pleased to see that Ray Davies can play guitar quite competently, he just chooses not to sometimes).

My dad is absolutely convinced our house is currently being burgaled. We were away at the Aran Islands which doesn’t have any phone coverage so we didn’t get any phone calls from our alarm system until we got back to the mainland so we called both of my brothers who were working and then we called my grandfather to pick up one of the brothers at work to turn off the alarm. So he looked around the house and everything and he saw nothing but my dad tried to ring our house phone and it was going straight to fax as if someone had cut the lines or put the phone off the hook or whatever.
So while they were calling neighbours and s***e and I shouted to my dad “just call your police friends”. So he did…and now the police are going rooting around the house.
It’s probably nothing but still there’s a load of (for want of a better word) scumbags (actually no wait….that is the proper word) hanging around our town and someone’s business got broken into last week so you can never be too cautious.
