You can sleep when you’re dead. You’re going to Italy!
Not fun mainland Italy, poor Sicily. It’s got lovely architecture if that’s what you’re into but apart from that its only real “things-to-do” are beaches. We visited all of The Godfather locations last time we were there but who knows….we might do it all over again this time 😛
In saying that: I will have a good time there, I’m very fortunate to be allowed to go abroad at all, so I will enjoy it with the auld lady and the auld fella.

You could do what I did in Italy and watch cartoons. That’s always fun.

I came on here not long ago and caught a glimpse of something about Stu, and then panicked because I thought the worst possible thing had happened: He’d passed away and I’d not had a clue about it! Then I remembered that it was his birthday today and that he’d passed quite a while ago, and I calmed down.
Silly brain.

^ Stu is so cool that he is able to die and be alive at the same time.

@Starr Shine? , I’ve noticed you’ve been absent from the forum for an astonishing 25 minutes, has the experiment caused you to meet your untimely death yet?

I was thinking about something a few days ago.
Say, if you and bunches of other people were in an assembly type thing. At multiple points, everyone is supposed to stand up. If the crowd starts clapping after being told to stand, would it still be standing ovation? This is the absolute s**t I think of in the middle of the night while in an assembly.
I mean, it would be because everyone is standing and clapping, hence what a standing ovation is. But, it also doesn’t sound right because you’re not told to stand at certain points, it just happens.
I don’t really know why I’m posting this here, I just wanna post something

Do they clap on their own or are they prompted?

I went with my father to the musical ‘Oklahoma’ and upon discovering the audience were being promoted when to laugh my father walked out. I was delighted as it was a bloody awful musical.

Actually there was a vote in 1847 which resulted in two July 3rds but because we now are part of the EU we have to call it the 4th. It was one of the pro-Leave arguments and so the UK will return to having two July 3rds after we have left.
Lots of anti-American feeling in 1847.

What not to do, as demonstrated by the great Sir Paul McCartney .
OUCH!
It wrenches my gut every time I smack my guitar, and I don’t even have a historic artifact!
