I haven’t upgraded yet (use Windows 7) as I haven’t been bothered getting everything organised, plus i’ve heard there are issues after having made the switch. It concerns me however that come June, maybe July, the option to move up for free is withdrawn and instead its something like £100 (or so i’ve read), so I probably will at some point.
You get remove the windows 10 prompt from ever appearing @pepperland , just google it.

I have Windows 10. I don’t do much with it, just like I didn’t/don’t with other Windows versions.

If you’ve got Windows 8, then you should probably upgrade. If you’ve got Windows 7 or Windows XP, don’t upgrade.g hahaha got it right. (I’ve worked quite a bit with all of them). 8 was really crap; 10 is much better. How v r, if you are still using XP, the you should upgrade, that OS is getting ancient in tech time and I don’t think MS supports it anymore.
I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

Does anyone here make music? I feel like so many people do now, whether seriously or just for fun, so I was wondering
I’ve dabbled in songwriting a little and I’ve actually written some solid lyrics; but it’s kind of difficult to come up with some kind of melody when you can’t play any instruments.
But, I do plan on trying out an acoustic guitar that currently resides in my closet and once I’m at least half-decent with that I’ll work on the actual music part of my songs.

I play very amateurishly for fun. I also write songs in my head, some of which I’ve been toying with for years. I really should record them so I can move on.

Always a good idea. Lately I’ve been doing parodies for a thread on another forum and it keeps the musical muscles exercised. But I’m the kind of writer who also has bits and pieces lying around with no idea how to turn them into better things yet. New instruments have really made a difference. It’s harder to have an excuse not to work when you thrown a few hundred on something 😀
I basically blame the Beatles for my inability to stay in any musical genre but I’ve always favoured instrumentals over standard songs. That’s why I’m doing a lot of parodies at the moment, I’m hoping it rubs off. I want to write an album and put it on bandcamp after a friend asked how long I was going to wait to do my thing. So that’s the plan. I’m too old to go out gigging anyway.

Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.
