Why is it not to be read? I read it, I’m sure other people have. 

That is very bad since it’s a Time capsule and Time capsule are opened at a certain time and not before or else it deletes the whole purpose of the thread. The very first post is a warning not to since it takes the fun out of looking back at a snapshot of yesteryear if you look back at them whenever you want.

Yep from a variety of search sites, the more people, the more bots.

Shouldn’t we then type in all caps and spoil the answer to our own question based on the first post?

For instance, take the “Beatles Trivia – Even Easier” thread. That started as more-or-less a parody of three others: “Easy”, “Medium” and “Hard” (or something like that). The parody thread doesn’t really interest me, though I have occasionally contributed. The originals did, and I thought they allowed people to discover things they might not have otherwise. People, including me, tried keeping those original threads alive for ages, but they just kept being ignored. In the end those three interesting threads (to me, at least) died a death.

The reason that happens is that The Beatles Trivia – Even Easier don’t have to be correct, people can just potentially post responses with even reading the question and then can just post a question. 

The original question poster doesn’t have to say if the response is correct so the thread can keep going unlike the ‘real’ trivia threads that require the person who asked the question to constantly participate and a new question can only pop up when the former question was correctly responded to.

I think it could survive the same way as the picture thread, by having someone else ask a new question if no one can guess the question before it.

I like the game, it is less an interruption and more the original way it was played in the OP. I find it interesting that posting like the original poster is considered interrupting the thread.

Nah, I like to try new things on the forum when it becomes too stagnant in my opinion, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

OK. I accept that response. Just checking to make sure Fannadog40 hadn’t taken your place.
