Question for Silly Girl. Does your sister know you call her Little Girl on the forum? Has she heard Bad Boy …the part where John sings about putting chewing gum in little girls’ hair?

1. Yes, we racket about it all the time. 2. Does he? We didn’t hear that bit.  

The name originally came from Run For You Life (there! I’ve confessed) but about a million other Beatlesongs mention little girls as well, so let’s just pretend I nicknamed her after something nice like I Feel Fine and not an over-the-top threatening, chauvinistic song that was considered garbage by its creator*, and which the little girl in question runs from every time the end of Rubber Soul comes round.  

(Yep, we have a little running– no pun intended– joke about Little Girl and Run For Your Life . When the song comes, she runs and hides her head.) 

 

*Not that I necessarily agree with his assessment, mind you.

I guess you still could be an old lady, though. Are you an old lady?

You know, that makes a lot more sense now that you’re like my age. 

Sometimes you would say something and I would try to imagine it coming from an old lady, but it was just hard to picture.

Well the way you type made me think you were an old lady who was young in heart, but the only reason I thought you were an old lady is because I thought you had a daughter old enough to have conversations with.
