Well, Yesterday , Blackbird , Hey Jude , Live And Let Die , Paperback writer, etc. He sings a tribute to John and George. If you check Joe's articles about his concerts, (go to history https://www.beatlesbible.com/history/ and scroll down, you will see them) you can see the playlist. It changes a bit from concert to concert.

I strongly recommend you going to his concert, even if you're not a Paul fan. It's an amazing experience. a-hard-days-night-paul-5

No, I am totally going, even if I have to give my dad $400+ for it. I'm not even mad. I HAVE TO GO! If I don't…I'm going to hate myself. It'd be the third time that I would not have gotten a chance to see him. And…I am a Paul fan.

The world will no longer be threatened by Osama bin Laden. Not threatened by terrorism, I'm not so sure about.

I was being pretentious. The way a number of Americans are being shown celebrating on the television, you'd think murdering Osama had brought about instant world peace.

I hear what you are saying. The oddest part is most celebrations I've seen on the news are being held by college kids who were only about 8 to 10 years old when 9/11 occurred.

Most adults I have been speaking with today are still a bit guarded.

Just his death is a step in the right direction. Be grateful it didn't happen to you. However, I just got back from my course.

Well, there are plenty of us perceptive Yanks who agree that while this is a massive deal, it's not a cure-all, and could in fact make things worse.

Like it or not, Obama delivered one of his best speeches. The true ramifications won't be known for many years.

I don't know what to do. I was only three when the actual event happened, but my father had lost a friend to 9/11. It's just…inhumane to celebrate a man's death. And I don't want to do the whole “eye for an eye” thing. I don't know what to believe. I'm not up to date as of late and I'm not all that into the issue. In a sense, I'm glad he's no longer a threat to us, but it's just that I'm afraid that terrorism will be a slightly greater threat because of it.

You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you- Jesus (Matthew 5:38-42)

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind- Gandhi

The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. So it goes. … Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that- Martin Luther King Jr.

Very nicely put together there Walrus.
I heard something once that we need to understand why terrorism exists in the first place before we can hope to get rid of it. Someone was giving a lecture, but he said a fundemental understanding that terrorists are driven to become terrorists, they aren’t born that way, will ultimately lead to the demise of terrorism. But I still think this is missing the big picture because the real question would be who funds terrorists? It’s those answers that most forget to look into that are really the most important.
So I think it’s more than just love and understanding that we need because it’s not us versus them that’s important, it’s those people in the middle who benefit and profit from terrorism that we need to expose.

Well, GniknuS, isn't every problem like that? You have to find out how a problem starts to end it.

Who the heck would profit from terrorism?

Consider it done.

Yesterday at the office we were talking about this whole terrorism thing and how we were all hoping air travel would not become a nerve-wracking ordeal again. After the conversation, I received email notification stating I will be flying to Chicago for a business meeting next month.

Yikes.

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.
