Peacefully in my sleep like Grandma………..Not screaming and panicking like the passengers in her car.
Ha ha, made me choke on my mid-morning cappuccino.
But I’m still here 😉

I don’t like daylight savings. It’s a waste of time.

There’s a state in the U.S. that doesn’t observe daylight savings time. I think it’s Arizona, but I’m not sure. Somewhere in the Southwest.

Ya it’s Arizona but some reservations do observe it and others don’t so you could drive through four clock changes in Arizona.

Yeah this is actually the ”real time”. It’s funny, usually I sleep til 9 am on Sundays, and last week when it happened here (why doesn’t it happen on the same day worldwide? Why does it happen at all, it’s been proven to be completely useless and nonsense) I slept until 9 too. I like this better than the other way around, that makes my body really confused for some reason, the hour less in the springtime. I know it sounds whiny but it does. Anyone else who experiences this?

Happy Day Of The Dead!
So does this give us an excuse to feel weepy for John, George, Cyn, Linda, the original James P. Macca*, etc.?….

You don’t weep – you remember. In fact, in many countries it’s an upbeat day – as HKL noted in the Philippines you go out to the cemetery and have a nice meal with all of the family; living and dead.

It’s the day after All Saints Day – it’s known as All Souls Day. The All Saints Day is of course November 1 – which is where Halloween the night before comes from (All-Hallows Eve) which makes All Souls Day November 2.
This is a much much older tradition than any of the newer bogus card-buying “days’.
You are meant to go to the cemetery – maybe taking some flowers and food – and spend time with your deceased relatives so they know they are not forgotten.
