Well, folk(s), I’ve made my quota of two silly mistakes on the forum today. I think I should call it a night. My eyes are crossing, and I have to be up early to head back to the conference site. I didn’t bother to look at a map before I came. I can’t believe how far the hotel is from the conference site. Ugg, I’ll have to get up early to deal with commute time.

I put in my vote for folks. It sounds more natural to me. “All the folk fell over” sounds like an error.

Nope it sounds like a meanmistermustard.

So does this mean it can’t also sound like an error to my American ears? I’m sure if meanmistermustard teleported to random town America, some of the stuff that people were saying would sound like errors to his non-American ears.

That is probably true. Ah, subjectivity… gotta love it.

OOH, that sounds like a Beatles Bible Story…

It was a dark, drizzly morning. The GPS lost reception a few times and I had to take a detour due to road work. Hectic morning. The conferences sessions are going well, thankfully.

It’s twoo, it’s twoo.

A picture says a thousand words, you know. Mr. Kite simply whispered those thousand words.

@The Lost Beatle, I see you changed your name again. You used the name Beach Boys Maniac for awhile. I’ll add your information to the @ names directory for the HTML editor users. https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..s/#p144311

In the above gif why does Winnie-the-Pooh wear a scarf? Surely if he’s cold he should put some trousers on first.
