@Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^<, just an observation…you might want to update your signature line. You’ve been to see the-one-and-only Sir Paul McCartney a-hard-days-night-paul-7

I see what you did there, @Ahhh Girl, but it would’ve said Faul McCartney if I had a fetish for aluminium foil, wouldn’t it? a-hard-days-night-paul-11

Does bad karma come your way for things you did that were wrong but you didn’t know were wrong at the time you did them?

You get the slightest sniff of Pattie, @Mr. Kite, and here you are again, all over the threads!

Another of the bullet points from this month’s Mojo:

Cleaned-up, best-possible versions of the Penny Lane Strawberry Fields Forever  and Something promos. Even greener buses! Even redder jackets! Even hotter Pattie!

It must. Karma kicked me in the ol’ twig & berries today for no apparent reason.

You bet.

Number eight is in sight.

It was kind of amusing being number 9, number 9, number 9 …

He said

In a different thread, Annadog40 proclaimed

I’m surprised that people are so resistant to Bealtes fanfiction.

I don’t know if “resistant” is the right word. That suggests that folks are opposed to it. Maybe “indifferent” is a better word.

Personally, I’ve only read one piece of fanfiction (thanks, @Into the Sky with Diamonds) and watched only one fanfic movie (I Wanna Hold Your Hand). I’m sure there is a lot of entertaining Fab-fic out there (loved ITSWD’s book!) but trying to sift through the not-so-good to get to the good is something I have no interest in.

It’s bad enough when glaring factual mistakes are made in works of non-fiction. One of the many things I liked about ITSWD’s book was, even though the storyline is fictitious (in short, Mal Evans corresponds with a NASA technician), he did a nice job of getting his Fab facts in line. Others may not take that much care with preserving reality in a work of fiction. A lot of Beatles fans don’t take factual mistakes about the band very well – this one included. If a fanfic author retorted with “but it’s fiction!”, I would have to hunt him/her down and make them eat every last vile page of their work.

She said

Some strive for accuracy just like all media.

I’m sure they do. Do you read a lot of Fab-fic @Starr Shine? ? If so, what are some of your favorites?

So, those that get right down to the action without any of that wishy-washy lovey-dovey stuff? Just uncomplicated emotionless hardcore? I get where you’re coming from, @Starr Shine?! a-hard-days-night-george-10

I’m sure you do. I’ve seen what’s in your personal library, some of that stuff is worthy of the Fifty Shades thread.

And in the way these things go it’s now down to 4, and A dog didn’t have the chance to see my wonderful number when it was still on eight.
