I think the mission was to get me to change my avatar.

What did I do? Is it karma?
You shouldn’t be so mean to me. After all, you’re relying on ME to get younnadog40Girl and Joe out of the ANTI-Beatlemaniacs’ clutches and parlance’s memory restored.

Jesus ye actually change the pass-percentage, I’d prefer that over what we do (God dammit here comes another long explanation):
Say 10 people do higher level Leaving Cert maths. There is a fixed percentage of what percentage people can get:
Around 10% can get A’s (85%+)
Around 30% can get B’s (70%+)
Around 30% can get C’s (55%+)
Around 10% can get D’s (40%+)
The rest fail
If the paper was easy and 6 people get A’s, 3 got B’s and 1 got a D the States Examination Commission can not let that happen as it screws with the fixed percentages. So they keep on recorrecting the paper until they have found the 1 person that truly was the best of the 10 i.e. they got the most answers correct, they showed all of their workings, did nice graphs etc.
The other 5 A-grade people, while they were A grades at first have to continue being remarked until they fit into the percentages, so the next best 3 will get B’s and the other 2 will get C’s. The real kick in the — is for the D-grade who will be remarked until they fail because they can not change the fixed-percentage brackets. Failing maths in the Irish education system means you will most likely not get a college course because nearly all of them require you pass maths.
It’s a real pain in the arse if you get scored down but it stops there being an over-inflation in college points requirements (I’ll explain this next Monday/Tuesday, speaking of which my results are out next Wednesday- ).
It works the same if the paper is very hard (like my Maths Paper 1 paper this year). If out of the 10 nobody gets an A and they all get C’s and D’s then they will keep on remarking it (giving loads of marks for the “easier” Section A questions than the “more difficult” Section C answers) so that they will get the 1 A, 3 B’s, 3 C’s, 1 D and 2 fails so it’s both a pain and a blessing.

I just saw the movie Pixels. It was so good. My brother who died in a car wreck many years ago would have loved the movie. He played all those games as a kid.

^ Wo yeah! Let’s pretend it’s actually possible to send weather to someone over 3,000 miles (4 km) away.
Well, it’s been twenty minutes and plenty of thunder and I played ‘Blow Away’ twice and STILL NO ACTUAL FALLING PRECIPITATION RAIN!
*stares at grey clouds expectantly* *attempts rain-dance*
