Why do I continue to do something that tortures my psyche and makes me so very sad? Why do I keep doing it? I’m not forced to do it. I just keep doing it. I really need to quit. It’s funny you should say that just as I am torturing myself by listening to Here Today and reading the thread and listening to Here Today and wishing I could just come out and cry already.
This THING has become a bad habit. It only hurts my mental health, not physical health.
Sorry to hear that @Ahhh Girl. One of the mysterious of humans is why we do things repeatedly even tho we know they are unhealthy, sadly it is much harder to unlearn a habit than it really should be. If you haven’t and can i’d suggest speaking to someone about it, someone you trust implicitly and have only your best intentions at heart. Sometimes just speaking about it and knowing someone is on your side thru it can give enough strength to break the cycle – sometimes we need more. Take care of yourself.

Kids are sitting exams and tweeting about them afterwards report the BBC. One “question that attracted the most comments was about a girl called Hannah taking a sweet from a bag at random, and the students were asked to prove the equation: “Show that n²-n-90=0“.”
n²-n-90=0!!!!
So n²-n must = 90 right.
Do you get a mark for that?

Yep but now you have to solve for n! You would get partial credit.

Erm… n²-n=90 so… erm…
I have a higher maths grade as well. Surely n=10.
n² – n – 90 = 10² – 10 -90 = (10×10) – 10 – 90 = 100 – 10 – 90 or 100 – 100 = 0.
I guessed that.

Cheese from a cow.
But using your posts, I can narrow down an area (Or just have Ahhh Girl deliver your prize) Or I can put the prize in you Beatles Bible room like I did with Mr. Kite’s bananas

Given the size of this block of cheese, I wonder if we could carve it into models of the Beatles playing on the roof to put on the roof? Though it’d get stinky up here pretty quick up here. Or maybe some yellow submarines we could send down the Thames…
