I get on here, and I see there are 35 topics with posts that I haven't read. I just wanted to pop in and say hi, and hope everyone is doing well with everything.

And I can't wait for econ to be over! I think the next class I'm going to take will be something creative writery-like.

Hi StarWisher! I haven't really posted/conversed with you much, I don't think.

But I know how that is. I went onto my computer, and the epic debate was updated and I was sleeping through the end of it a-hard-days-night-paul-4

Just kidding, Star. Good to see you again, even if just for a moment. a-hard-days-night-ringo-15

Good luck with econ!

Is very happy to watch the playoffs for hockey right now. It's been getting much better. a-hard-days-night-ringo-9  And nice to see you again Star! My friend has the same problem to, she doesn't enjoy econ either and from what I've heard I can't really blame her.

I see they lost in overtime to Boston.

Ha ha — Hey all, do any of you have a recommendation for a new phone to buy? I have a Motorola Razr, from 2007, and I think it's on its last legs. Either my charger is not working any more (and Motorola no longer makes the kind I need) or something internal is going on with the phone, and after 4 years, maybe it is time for an upgrade.

I wish I could have a phone/mp3 player, but I don't have that kind of money to purchase an iPhone. I never can decide…

I have a Nokia phone that has a good mp3 player, it holds a decent amount of songs and the battery is pretty good. I often use it when my iPod dies. Though it's not a smartphone, and it seems like I'm the only person I know without one. So if you're looking for something relatively inexpensive that calls, sends texts, and plays music, that's an option.

Starwisher, remember you’re in California, where you are obliged to not care about hockey!!!

You're in California? You do realize that you are in the best state ever? We have everything. The beaches, the mountains, the desert, the snow, Candlestick Park, the Hollywood Bowl… Everything.

Julian Lennon’s Saltwater made the number 3 in Rolling Stone’s 10 corniest pro-environment songs. I agree, the song is a bit corny but it’s nice because I like to focus in the guitar a-hard-days-night-george-7

Yes, indeed, I am. I grew up near Boston, hence my previous comment, but you just can't beat this weather here!

I know, right? Isn't it amazing? :^) My uncle lives in Boston and just loooves California weather. He misses it too much, considering how he's usually cramped up in the winter. And he misses Hollywood, too. We were there last Sunday for a Rain concert, and we were walking around and looking at the stars. You're just going to miss it when you leave. Trust me  a-hard-days-night-george-3

Well actually, I believe that Illinois would be the most bestest state and the weather is probably real great here also because it is and so that means I should be right probably!! a-hard-days-night-george-10

Today I went to have my hair cut (it's now kind of hippie-ish: long, straight, fringe across my eyes) and I was telling my hairdresser I need to come in on my graduation day.

Hairdresser: “I don't work on Tuesdays, so you're going to have to see someone else, I recommend John or George.

sure thing, I'll book an appointment with John and George for that day a-hard-days-night-john-6a-hard-days-night-george-9

My friend was right, Mel Brooks movies are pretty good. And they do remind me slightly of Monty Python, but really nothing can ever beat Monty Python.
