Ah ok… my nephew loved Count Duckula, in Mexico that was Count Patula. We still call him Patula as a nickname.
And Bugs Bunny rocks. I love the singing frog who refused to sing in front of musical agents .. annoying little thing LOL!! And Pepe Le Peu…. I love him.

I think Spongebob's the best cartoon. The origional Spongebob though, before they changed his voice and his nose got longer.

Offline Yeah, although the voices and storylines weren’t so great, the Beatles cartoon show was cute! I also can thank it for partly getting me to like the Beatles. *shudders* Who knows where I would be if it weren’t for the show?

(Is it odd that I fear derailing the Incredibly Impossible to Derail this Thread” thread?)
Alright, so long story short, I'm in a band and we've sort of decided that we want to write our own stuff. We've sort of been coming up with a few bits here and there, but they've pretty much just been scrapped (they were pretty bad).
I've just started work on a song in Logic Pro, and I've got most of the music down. I've started work on the lyrics, and I'm just looking for some opinions on how it's going so far. This is what I have:
The world is bringing me down
I gotta leave, yeah, I'm skipping this town
We could hide from the forces around
Deny the rules to which we are bound
Just gotta take my hand
Come with me, we'll do what we can
We're gonna take a stand
Against the men with their heads in the sand
That's about 10 minutes of work, mind you, and I'm going to fine tune stuff once I finish everything.
Do you think I should replace any lines, or even words? Any help would be appreciated. 
Oh, and is the meaning clear for the last two lines? It should be, but I dunno.

Offline I like it! It'd be cool to hear it with music, I find it easier to write if I have the general “feel” of the song and the melodies. and it's exciting hearing something new.

Offline I agree with JET! I'm not a musician, but I'm a writer. The lyrics are nice, but not every line has to rhyme. You can have it in a set like “a, b, c, b” if you know what I mean.
