Just saw a clickad that inquired:
Who was the last person to make Reba McIntire starstruck?
- Angelina Jolie
- Somebody Else
- I don’t know who
As if I care!
I’m sorta PWTB (Posting While Totally Bored).

Hi, guys!! So what is everybody up to? Anything interesting?
Not really…
Well, there’s a most intriguing picture in “Name the Beatles song that goes with this picture” thread, and a Baker’s Dozen list about weather in Beatlesongs… and Ron Nasty and Ahhh Girl have been trawling London. And some other stuff. It’s sort of happening while we’re all busy making other plans.

I keep coming to the forum expecting to find something new and exciting, and it seems to be the same discussions in the same threads. Someone needs to do something.
Forum is only as new and exciting as the folk who post on it. Want something new and exciting, post something new and exciting.

I’m also afraid to post anywhere for fear my post will be moved. I try to research whether topics have been covered but the search function doesn’t work very well and I’m not looking through 57 pages.
Very few posts have been moved recently, if anything mods have been not moving posts about. Post away, we mods are very happy and willing to notify you thru PM if we do move a post but you also get a notify message at the top of the screen. We dont go looking to move posts (we’d open up days of work and we mods prefer to be lazy and instead interact with folk, its more fun).
As for all the Yoko haters; if you like her then dont give a crap if others dont. Why should it matter what others think? As Belinda Carlisle once sang “live your life, be free”.

I think there are lots of new and interesting discussions popping up all the time if you look for them. As only one example @ewe2 took the time to post an amazing analysis of the development of Ringo’s drumming style:

Yoko is still my favorite Beatle. I just got tired of feeling all the silent vibrations of hatred coming from the all haters who viewed my avatar.
Well, it’s hardly surprising. You decided to champion a fairly unpopular celebrity, good for you – but you must have expected to have to wear a hard hat as a result.

I just did one about Paul’s bassplaying and why oh god why am I even considering one about George AND THEN THE CAGE COMES DOWN.

You got any ideas for one on John?
I don’t like the taste of zinc lozenges.
Whenever were there 597 users online? Was it back in the forum’s glory days before I joined?

Mercy! I was thinking George because at least I have some theory to test, and I’m only a very average guitarist, just working out his chords and runs will be murder (I have the official scores). John’s the real puzzle because all the movement in his Beatles time seems to really be songwriting and that in competition with Paul. Is there something specific about John’s playing development-wise that I’m missing? (Yes, the fingerpicking, I know).
How many tangents can @Beatlebug fit in one post

We can test that, if you like; this is the thread for, it after all.
I had to go to the dentist this morning. Going to the dentist when you have a cold– well, it’s a drag.
@ewe2, I REALLY love your mad mod threads– especially Paul’s walking, talking bass.
Can anyone derail this thread? (I’ll try my very hardest )

Thankyou @Beatlebug! Now, you must be patient, I’ve thought about it and it might really be a good idea for me to do John first and build up to George because he’s a more complicated instrumentalist. And it kind of fits because I have an overarching theme that’ve I’ve been belabouring and I can think about my George theory in more detail while I explain John to all the Beatle peoples.
Nice tangents, were you solving for BCA using only the information from A? I actually liked geometry and trigonometry in high school, it was the only maths at the time that made sense and I’m terrible at algebra at the best of times (i forget all the associative rules).

Those weren’t mine– I grabbed ’em off the ‘nets. I’m horrible on math. Most of it’s a huge drag, and the rest hurts my brain.
