I’m at the Runnymede memorials with @Ron Nasty. The MagnaCarta was signed here 800 yers ago.
A very nice lady on the bus made sure we got off on the correct stop.

Amazing sights and sites all across the UK. We have one of the 1297AD copies of the Magna Carta in Parliament House here in Canberra.

Up. And why on earth is this crap making the news? Saw it on the BBC a few days back. They even had the gall to bring back from hell that feckin’ dress that became headline news for no beneficial reason in the slightest.
Few give a flying crap in a bucket what colour a dress is, they certainly dont want it making the headlines of every fecking broadcast.
People. Get a life!!!

I think I am going to bring several people out of their hide-behind-a-computer-screen-comfort-zone on this trip. I’m just so excited to meet them!Welcome to the UK! Out of interest, where abouts are you visiting? Because to turf me out you have to get quite up north. In fact you have to pretty much be in Liverpool. Any excuse to
visit The Beatles Story and The Cavern Clubmeet new people.Kidding. I’d never put anyone through the awkwardness of meeting me. I’m ridiculously shy and boring.
I will be in Liverpool in a few days. I’d love to meet up with you.

Why do people say “in person,” but nobody says “out of person?”Because most of the time you are out of person.
I’m actin’ now!
It’s hard to be in person when you’re meeting somebody new, someone like you. Until you know them well enough to be yourself, you’re a real Nowhere Man (or woman, or silly girl). And if I said I really knew you well, what would you answer me? You’d prob’ly laugh and say that we were worlds apart.
Yeah, it’s one of my “uncommon nonsense” days…

Hey. Does anyone want to get The Baker’s Dozen rolling again? It’s been nearly twenty-four hours since anyone’s posted there and I don’t want to reply to myself. All you have to do is name a Beatles cover.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.
Most likely to post things that make you go hmm... 2015, 2016, 2017.

What? Oh, sure! I forgot about it (as I suspect we all did). Heading there now! *dashes down BBHouse corridor*

Beatley things I did today
1. London Palladium – We spent time thinking about what the street crowd would have been like on the night that led to birth of the word Beatlemania. RN mentioned that there is a theory that the cropping of the photograph disguised the size of the crowd. Maybe there wasn’t as large of a crowd as some people assumed.
2. HMV – His Masters Voice music shop – where Brian brought the Decca Audition reel-to-reel tapes and had them transferred to disk. He was ushered upstairs and the series of events from there led him to George Martin. I bought a copy of Ocean’s Kindom there.
3. 3 Savile Row – @Mr. Kite, someone stole the hammocks from the rooftop. Please get some more. To be more serious, WHAT a thrill to stand there and gawk at that historic place. I stood on one of the steps up to the door while RN took my picture. A man walked out of the store next door and just smiled at me and laughed to himself. There is not a 3 on the building. You just figure it out because of the way it looks and it is next to number 2.
4. Saw the building on Monmouth street where Brian had an office from 1963-1964. The building is covered up with scaffolding right now, but the Blue Plaque is still visible. Brian liked that location in the Seven Dials area because it is in the theatre district.
5. 57 Wimpole Street – I refrained from trying to climb up the drain pipe to get to the attic windows to get into the room where Paul lived with the Ashers. While we were sitting on the curb across the street discussing what songs Paul and John wrote in that house, I found a 1 pence piece. I will treasure it always.
6. MPL headquarters on Soho square. I admit, I touched the building. I fan-girled majorly. There are pictures. I am glad there was a temporary construction wall between me and all the people in Soho Square Garden.

Sounds amazing! Oh, if I was there today…

Thanks, SG. I fixed it.
EDIT: I also tweaked the wording in some places after RN peer-reviewed my post.

I saw some Stella McCartney handbags/purses in Liberty yesterday. I didn’t feel like I was rich enough to even go near them and possibly breathe on them.
