If I thought there was a snowflake’s chance in hell to be carried by Paul McCartney , I would get carried away like no one has ever gotten carried away before. *sigh*

I did this quiz to find out what music era I belonged in, while my ideal would obviously be 60’s rock (if I could go back in time I’d go to London ’65-’67 and have a cool job like a model or something and I’d get to go to all the savage parties that would have being going on, not to mention the great music.)
But I got 90’s rave. I like 90’s dance music anyways so I’m alright with that.
“The rave scene of the late ’80s and early ’90s set the template for much of what we know as EDM culture today – massive psychedelic dance parties, rampant MDMA use, and thumping, euphoric techno. The first wave of rave is the ideal time for highly energetic extroverts, and anyone who lives by the credo of PLUR – peace, love, unity, and respect”.

I have a question:
In some older posts, there would be a number inside asterisks, usually 9 or 17 (for obvious reasons). This has perplexed me greatly. Can anyone explain?

@AppleScruffJunior, I see you as a 60’s era Sloane Ranger
I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

Pretty much, I’m going to have my Daddy build an extra library at Cambridge so I can go there. I plan on studying fashion design and because I’ve got so many good connections through Mummy, I’ll be at interning at Louis Vuitton straight after I graduate!

It’s funny, I associate the term more with the ’80s than the ’60s. Probably because of Lady Di.

For that what are you pop quiz thingie posted above i got the following
You got: The TRL Era
The TRL era of the late ’90s and early ’00s was a golden age for glossy teen pop, and the heyday of Britney, Christina, NSYNC, and the Backstreet Boys . It’s not “cool,” but it was the best time ever to be an upbeat, pop-obsessed teen.
Something went wrong obviously as i am neither upbeat, pop-obsessed or a fan of glossy teen pop. And who are TRL?

Yip. There is nothing better @AppleScruffJunior than sticking ‘Womaniser’ up loud and unloading the blues of the day.
Nice to see i’m not alone @Getting_Better, you name the NSYNC track and i’ll hum the tune.

TRL – Total Request Live?
From wiki
Total Request Live (known from 1998 to 2008 as TRL) is a television series on MTV that featured popular music videos. TRL was MTV’s prime outlet for music videos as the network continued to concentrate on reality-based programming. In addition to music videos, TRL featured daily guests. The show was a popular promotion tool used by musicians, actors, and other celebrities to promote their newest works to the show’s target teendemographic.
And no i’d never heard of it until now.

I had a go at the music era quiz:
You got: MotownThe Motown era isn’t just about Motown Records, but the entire boom of soul music that came out of Detroit and other midwestern cities through the ’60s. It’s not an easy time to be alive – this is basically the soundtrack to the civil rights movement – but this is an unparalleled period for R&B music.
Okay. I like the gif that comes with it though:
