Hey, you are in the right thread to post whatever you want (within reason). So no worries about going off topic because this is the off topic thread.

Hey, I just had a question about Facebook here in the appropriate thread – I received a friend request and was wondering if it was any of you fine people since I don’t actually know the person.

No problem Jojo, as StarWisher said, this is the incredible impossible to derail thread, so all the posts are off-topic.
I can't understand how Paul walked through the street without sandals if it was too hot. I didn't find mine a few hours ago and I walked outside and I jumped back inmediately!! It was too damn hot! I was like “How did Paul do it???”
Maybe what it's hot in England, in Mexico is chilly.

Because he’s Paul Friggin McCartney and his powers are beyond us. He can do anything he wants, and better than you. <– See how smug he is about it, too? Darn that Macca.
I still love him, though …

Wasn’t yesterday also the anniversary of the day they officially broke up? Or am I just crazy?
I'm not sure why the answer to both questions can't be yes. However, since I don't know you well enough yet, I'll just say that sadly yesterday was the day.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but the coolest thing happened a few days ago. I was getting ready for school in the morning and listening to the Beatles as I always do, and it was storming out. I had Abbey Road on shuffle really loud on my speakers and I Want You (She's So Heavy) came on, and it played for a while then it got into the really heavy guitar parts, which I love. It began to thunder loudly outside, but not loud enough to where it covered up the music, so it sounded like a new effect on the song. The added thunder made the song even more powerful in those guitar parts than it was before, so I stopped getting ready for school and just listened to it. It kept thundering until the end of the song, and then there was no more thunder and the sun came out. It was the coolest thing ever.

That does sound pretty awesome!

I agree that is cool.
Nigel – you said it was on shuffle, but please tell me Here Comes The Sun was still the next song!

Okay, this will be a long diatribe. Okay, the show Glee is the topic. Is it just me, or to they cover all the good songs? Bohemian Rhapsody, Good Vibrations, Sweet Caroline, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Piano Man, everything else for that matter? I sorta feel if Glee didn't butcher these songs, Classic Rock would be much more popular. Just looking at the list made my stomach turn. That list made me turn to Youtube and save my stomach with Billy Joel, and Neil Diamond. I hate Glee.

They don't butcher most of them. Really they do quite a better job than most other covers you will hear of the songs. But really only Chris Colfer can get away with The Beatles songs. When they do them as a group it just isn't very good. And it's not because of Glee that Classic Rock isn't that popular, it's just the mainstream music in general. If you look at what really is in the mainstream market today you won't find a single real rock band. Glee I personally think is trying to help bring Classic Rock back and I think they're doing a pretty damn good job of it. Now most of my friends know about the Classic Rock artists I love and are getting into them. So obviously the job they are doing isn't bad if my friends who look them up and like them are normally into popular mainstream stuff.
