Flippin’ heck. The UK clocks go forward in three weeks. Summer time is three weeks away. Its certainly flown by. Christmas still feels like it was last week.

There is something wonderful in the clocks going forward that far outweights the dismay of them going back in October signifying the end of summer and the coming winter.

Has anybody heard about that bag of air from a Kanye West concert that’s going for $60,000 on ebay?

@Necko Yeah, I posted about it in the Paul Out There tour thread. :-)

Scooby Doo, Where are you? Your harder to find than Waldo.

I don’t know exactly what you’re referring to, but I definitely agree, if you’re talking about finding the original Scooby-Doo cartoons. Where the heck are they?

I have the first 5-10 episodes of the 69-70 cartoon on VHS somewhere. And other assorted episodes from when it was good.

You’ve mentioned your hatred for Scrappy multiple times, @meanmistermustard. What is it that bugs you about him?

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

I like Scooby-Doo but Scrappy is an obnoxious, yelpy, up his own backside little brat that should have been neutered and stuck in the dog home instead of ruining the show. All that “let me at him, let me at him” was dreadfully unfunny and only resulted in my hoping that Scooby and Shaggy did just so the bad guy would throw him off a cliff and squish him. A useless pointless addition to try and generate an increase in viewers.

Except you get one hour less. Which of course isn’t true, as the clocks also go back an hour for a period of time, but it really feels like it. Especially when you need to get up at 6 amblue-meanie

Don’t ever be around my mum then! She can literally sneeze 20 times in a row, all at deafening levels which might end up giving me tinnitus.

That video is quite brilliant.

And reminds me of one of the greatest mash-ups ever known in the history of the universe (grown-up offensive language included, click link only if you’re over 18 (or 21 or whatever age it is where you live) and all the other normal disclaimers apply – dont click, get into trouble from your parents and then blame and sue me/the forum).

We’re happy to do so as New Zealand are doing so well, give you some confidence going into the latter stages. We did our batting last match so expect us to not be that high scoring (cant be too greedy), truth be told i think we’ll forget about trying to get wickets too; let you get some batting practice. Plus we have that record we dont want to lose; what are we on now – 13(?) World Cup matches without a win, really we should aim for the nice round 15.

Our plan worked perfectly. Taught Bangladesh some lessons in batting whilst giving them confidence in their victory whilst gave England false confidence they could qualify when they are actually rotten. Bangladesh have now eliminated England.

Scrappy Doo is the trope namer for characters that the audiences hates. Here is an expeerpt on scrappy doo from here

Trope Namer Scrappy-Doo from Scooby-Doo was hated by many of the show’s longtime fans, with some of the hate coming from his introduction, which happened to be timed with other major retools to the series (specifically dumping half the original cast, switching to a Two Shorts format, and the franchise’s first clumsy attempts to lose the Scooby-Doo Hoax), but a great deal of it also being earned by his thoroughly obnoxious behavior of vainly boasting about picking a fight with villains he couldn’t hope to harm.

However, despite how much Scrappy has been loathed and how hard the franchise has distanced themselves from the character, at the time of his introduction, Scrappy was extremely popular. The show was already on the verge of cancellation due to low ratings, leading the writers to create the character in a last-ditch attempt to save it. Kids loved him and the ratings sky-rocketed, leading to the various format changes that happened later to give more prominence to Scrappy.
