I walked out of the theater because I couldn’t take it. Glad I’m not the only one here like that.
You could start off small with Casper the Friendly Ghost.

Yes, everyone’s tried to get me to watch Ghostbusters because it’s funny. Doesn’t matter. Just seeing the music video for the Ray Parker, Jr. song ruined my sleep schedule for a few weeks.
I don’t horror, I don’t do movies with quicksand. Not going to happen. And yes, that means I haven’t seen The Princess Bride.

The Princess Bride.
I remember watching that. As a kid I used to not like the move since the princess didn’t do anything.

Would someone please @ me when the current Baker’s dozen round is finished. I can’t look at anything horror related. I will have nightmares. I will probably have one or more tonight having seen that category and the picture tbhf played in the picture-song game thread. Sorry to be so sensitive, but that’s me.
Sorry @Ahhh Girl, I started that topic. Funny, horror is my favorite genre, followed closely by SCI-FI. I guess at heart I’m still fourteen years old!
“Forsan et haec olim meminisse juvabit” (“Perhaps one day it will be a pleasure to look back on even this”; Virgil, The Aeneid, Book 1, line 203, where Aeneas says this to his men after the shipwreck that put them on the shores of Africa)

I wouldn’t worry too much about it since we don’t have to include extracts from their books. It’s just a list of names, none of them too scary so far

I dunno, I think “Lovecraft” and “Bram Stoker” are kinda eerie sounding in themselves. Clive Barker too but he hasn’t been mentioned yet.
I must be the only person besides parlance who’s never seen “The Princess Bride”…just never caught it anywhere.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

Oh good, I don’t feel so bad.
I do like cheesy Vincent Price movies though.

Scouse Pamela Anderson in the news. I love that her sister is the polar opposite.

I was at a film festival where he appeared and randomly bumped into him. I told him how My Dinner with Andre is my favorite movie of all time and I loved him in it.
He was there with Brooke Smith, and he introduced her to me, and I told her I loved her in Uncle Vanya on 42nd Street (same creative team as My Dinner…). It was a wonderfully surreal experience. They were both incredibly nice.
As a side note, I didn’t get to meet Louis Malle, sadly, but I did meet Andre Gregory thanks to a friend who told me he was doing a play ruminating on life after My Dinner…

Kurt Cobain’s Personal Credit Card Will Be Auctioned Off
Also in the same auction: a handwritten U2 setlist and Frank Sinatra’s 1944 drivers license.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.
Most likely to post things that make you go hmm... 2015, 2016, 2017.

Vincent Price cheese? Alas! He’s one of The Great Ones, along with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing!
