Picked one, the other was SO close. Sad to see the pack miss out again.

I’ve heard him discussed several times as the heir apparent to Tom Brady should Tom decide to retire any time soon. I think the Patriots will win the Superbowl as they have such balance on both offense and defense.

The Packers made waaaay too many mistakes at the end of the game. I could not believe how it ended.

^ Indeed, only saw the highlights and was surprised they let their lead slip. That kick-off they messed up was really bad.

Thanks – but that thread is for real football :)

No insult intended, I am a big fan of NFL. We had a Packers assistant coach visit our school for a few weeks many years back and I picked up a few nice moves to use in the rugby I was playing at the time – probably one of the reasons I ended up supporting them.

It is 72 degrees and sunny where I am now. The wind isn’t blowing hard. I just got back from a lovely walk with my dog.

Sounds nice. It’s supposed to be summer here but today seems cold and a storm is brewing up. I had to remember where my new sock drawer is now that the STBE has taken half the bedroom furniture.

Ha ha – fair enough!

And that cold day I mentioned? The oncoming storm decided to ramp things up and we have gone to hot and humid in barely minutes.

We have had two deer in our garden munching on any green food they can find all day and night (we could hear them walking about eating at 12am Tuesday morning) as the ground is covered in frozen snow and ice. Quite something to see a couple of deer outside your window happily munching on a bush – our own nature programme.a-hard-days-night-john-3

Nice – all I have here is rats in the roof space which are taking an age to try and clear out.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Get a cat. We have one that if human would have Arnie wimpering in a corner due to its ability to hunt and kill the enemy. Its currently away on his holidays (ie he has disappeared again, always does this, will come back, probably feasting on a cow as i type).

One of the local cats sleeps in our yard so I am hoping it is assisting. Maybe it sleeps too much :)

I’m here! Just had a nice, long weekend.

I’ve checked in a few times, but haven’t had time to read what I missed.
