A lot of people are on right now, hello everyone!
Soon there will be 500 user on at once!!!
In other good news: I’m now taller than 1/2 of the people in my circle of acquaintances.
Everything is coming up ASJ!
I am slightly worried at how you managed that . . .
Moo juice (I hate that *beeping* word) and a lot of stretching. Someday I will be average height *goes on tippy-toes to look to the future*.
And I don’t store anything in “my drawer of unmentionables” ‘part from the unmentionables- all of my sweets are hid in my school book drawers. I still have my candy canes from Christmas yumyum.
My penpal sent me over South African herbal tea and it just tasted like lightly fragrant hot water, maybe it’s just my dull taste-buds but mam said it tasted nice.
I fear to think I will never get a taste for tea *shudders*. How will I prove that I am from the second nation that drinks the highest amount of tea per capita?

I’m not big on traditional black teas, and lately I’m not much into herbal teas either. That said, I just had a cup from a package I bought in Chinatown – chrysanthemum tea.

You guys must have seen this video but I just wanted to share the adorable moment at 1:55. The Beatles .
@StrawberryFieldsForever that knowing glance shared between Paul and Ringo is priceless. From the moment I place the DVD into the player, I am anticipating that moment. It is THE highlight for me. The first time I saw it, it brought a tear of joy. Now, I smile broadly and point at the screen just as Paul points at Ringo. So glad you like it too.

I mentioned in another thread that I’m taking an online class for winter. I wanted to retake Photoshop from the graphic design department (as opposed to the photography department) because I often have trouble thinking graphically, and I’m hoping this class will help me improve. So far I’ve turned in 2 assignments (each one has to have two variations). They’re not masterpieces, as it’s only a six week course. But I’m having fun so far, especially with the movie posters:

Very cool @parlance . I’ve seen other work produced by Mr. Tinkles. It gives one a warm feeling.
Seriously though – nice work.

I like green tea, I generally go for black tea no sugar; Lapsang Souchong, Earl Grey and Russian Caravan being my favourite Twinings varieties.

I do like getting green tea if I’m at a Chinese restaurant, but I haven’t found a teabag variety that I like. I love matcha green tea lattes, though I feel guilty when I get them because a Japanese coworker told me it’s really only supposed to be a ceremonial tea, and of course we’ve bastardized it.

Do you not even like normal tea applescruffjunior? The stuff Twinings are adamant on calling ‘English Breakfast’ – you know, normal tea?I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t like it… that’s not a version of my life I want to think about.
Nope, I know I’m a disgrace. I think I’m going to move to a cave and become a hermit…
Or become Howard Hughes but without the jars of urine.

I like certain coffee if is properly made, ie not just heaped in a cup from a jar and water added, so i tend to stay away from it. The stuff that Starbucks, Costa etc sell is undrinkable as well (i’m still to find one drink made in Costa that i want to drink).
Tea-wise i’ve said before that i’m a Tetley devotee to the point where i tend not to drink it if its anything else, tho Twinnings is bearable. Someone brought Typhoo into my house once; one cup and it was out the door.

Ah – okay. Synchronicity. My son just did a video game quiz the other day and the only clue he missed was to do with buffalos and dysentry and OT was the answer.

Today, in American football, it was determined that the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks would be playing in the next Superbowl. One of my classmates in high school, Jimmy Garoppolo, is quarterback for the Patriots. Congrats to Jimmy and the rest of the Patriots.
