Congratulations on reaching the 6k milestone @parlance. Only the four person in BB history to have scaled such a height.

I Think that Rolling Stone should do a cover story of The Rolling Stones covering "Like a Rolling Stone" or if a Type of Beetle was named after The Beatles.

:-D Thank you, everyone! I like the idea of scaling a height, as I spent Monday visiting Vasquez Rocks (a prehistoric-looking area in LA where Star Trek and Roswell were filmed, among other shows and movies), and I managed to get to the peak of the highest one. Huffing and puffing, but I made it. :-D

And my timing was perfect. I’d run into a friend with his camp for kids that day, and now the area’s probably snowed in.

That’s great! Coincidentally I was just reading trivia about Army of Darkness and learned that one of the scenes was filmed there. I mentioned to my s/o that we should go there if we drive out to the west coast. Funny to see it mentioned here the next day. a-hard-days-night-ringo-13

I tend to like albums that are not their most popular, like 90125 and Tormato.

Happy New Year, @StrawberryFieldsForever. I am at the Hard Rock Cafe in Memphis at the moment. They have a “guitar drop” at midnight here on Beale Street.

Certainly more entertaining than watching a crystal ball drop down One Times Square. Can you tell me more about the guitar they’re dropping? And Tell Me What You See at the Hard Rock.

guitar-drop.jpgImage Enlarger

@thisbirdhasflown, if you zoom in and look under the white tent you will see the guitar. I don’t know what time they raise it up to the top of that ladder thing to get read to “drop” it. We left the area around 2 this afternoon.

Of course, the HRC Memphis had loads of Elvis stuff in it. There are a few Beatles album covers.

@Starr Shine? When you’re on a boat like the Sloop John B, needless to say, you’re gonna need a life vest!

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

This is completely random but I just found a cool easter egg in Google Maps. If you move the little Street view guy near Area 51 in Nevada, the guy turns into a little UFO a-hard-days-night-paul-4
