Offline I went to the National (US) Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis today. Here’s their webpage.

I again encountered that bit of chemistry information about silver (AG) being the best electrical and thermal conductor element. Now I can add to my knowledge of silver that no other English word rhymes with it. Some of the facts about gold listed on this sheet are hilarious.
