Elvis Presley’s connection to The Beatles and Nixon featured in new O2 exhibit
There’s more in the story, but here’s something I didn’t know
Also on display are a sampling of Beatles’ records that Elvis owned including albums and singles including Rubber Soul and Something New. No doubt these records helped Elvis decide which Beatles songs he would like to sing (he sang five) during his Las Vegas touring years.
The exhibit runs through 31 August 2015.
I have all of Elvis’s Beatles covers except Lady Madonna .

@Hey Jude ! considering that Green Day’s material is vastly superior to Ringo’s solo material and that they’re incredibly influential and made the greatest albums of the century so far and one of the greatest albums of the 90s as well, yeah they deserve it. The hate for Green Day on the Internet makes me really angry.
Nine Inch Nails should’ve been inducted though. They’ll get in next year for sure.

No no, im not hating, i think ringo deserves to go in the final and be the main star as he was the drummer of the most legendary band, I haven’t listened to his solo much and from green day. But green day is well known all around the world but ringo needs more appreciation as he was overshadowed by his mates during beatles. I enjoy his voice and his lyrics were quite good in solo years. I really don’t like it when some massively popular bands steal the show (eg Nirvana last year)
They may have produced 2-3 greatest albums of the 90s but century is a little too much. Again im not hating, i want more people to know Ringo. Peace & Love.
