Hockey – Ottawa Senators fan here. We’re a young team, we might not be strong this year, but we’ve got Karlsson and Ryan signed long term. I’m pretty optimistic.
Favourite Non-Beatles Bands/Artists – depends on my mood. Anything from Eminem to Frank Sinatra, City and Colour to Sam Roberts. Wide range.

I’m a Penguins fan, and I’m feeling optimistic about the season, despite Dupuis’ issue and all around injuries. Crosby’s been absolutely incredible and he’s really clicked with Hornqvist, so it’s pretty good. (And Olli Maata is basically Superman)

Edit: I want to expand on this. A forum like this is only as interesting and valuable as the people who you interact with on it. Joe has given us a platform for which to have some amazing discussions. I fell out of the forum because I didn’t feel like my presence was adding any at the time I left. The main section of this site is absolutely amazing, and the credit there goes to Joe. But the forum is the domain of the posters. That’s the only thing I missed.
Great to see you again!
I recently saw an old exchange between us which I’m not proud of. Someone posted an alternative mix of I Am The Walrus on Megaupload (or somewhere) and I commented on it. You asked what it was like and I basically said “I’m a bit busy, listen to it yourself”. Reading it back I was struck by how brusque and out of character it was, so sorry about that.
(I deleted the exchange for semi-related reasons: I was creating a definitive song thread for IATW and had to do some combining of threads. This bit got stuck in the middle and looked really awkward. History got airbrushed.)
Anyway, needless to say you always added a lot, and it was a shame you went on hiatus. I hope you stick around some more. The crowd here is different but just as good.

There are some users that are not English native
I know that. I’m not saying the forum is a bad place to advertise, I’m saying the ad is in English, so you’d need to know at least a little to read the ad. And if you know English the ad doesn’t apply.
