What I learned today:That a British passport is the most desirable passport to have.
I finally established that otters holding hands is the cutest thing in the world (they do it so when they are asleep they don’t drift away from each other).
That I can resist temptation from biscuits (haven’t touched the packet of custard creams in the press )
My favourite colour is officially purple
A rather productive day I think that and I’m on midterm break yoohoo!
The otter pic is cute but the reasoning is so much more adorable!

Sorry I’m late. Traffic was hell.
Moonlight!! How’s life?
Good, good. I’ll admit I’d kinda forgotten about this place, apart from occasionally messaging Mimi over email (and if she’s reading this, don’t worry, I’ve proved everything’s OK). I’ve been back in school – I was off for six months and came back in full-time and it’s taking its toll; I’m bloody tired. I’ll also admit that the same feelings for Elizabeth have returned (if you remember that tale) after I thought I was over it. I’ve kept myself under control, though, just about.
I’ve also had about fifteen people enter a competition in The Sun to win a George Harrison Signature Gretsch Duo Jet which I hope I get. Fingers crossed. I’ve been making more songs on GarageBand since I got my iPad which I’ll upload at some point, some covers and some original. I’ve got people who’d like to be in a band with me but nothing’s really come of it yet due to lack of motivation from the others and probably debates on what kind of music we do.

Outside its windy, wet and cold and has been all day and the clocks go back one hour tonight in the UK indicating the end of the British Summer Time and bringing darkness at 6pm (or so).
I need to find a way of teleporting to the Bahamas for the next 6 months till the summer returns. Or the South Pole, i love the snow, its beauty makes up for it being freezing. Wet and windy blows (quite literally).

Next year I won’t be going to uni (woohoo \o/ , I’m possibly one of the few teenagers who doesn’t want to go to uni). I have decided that I’ll take a year out to do a level 5 business course, study accounting, get some work experience and tutor teenagers in Irish, German and French (if I get the results I want) so I will get money for uni. I think I’ll also teach myself Spanish as I’ll have a lot of free time and I’ll be helping my mam which will be good fun and reading a lot to expand my knowledge of things that interest me!
Yeah I don’t wanna be a grown-up..
Also a place opened up about 40 mins drive away from my house that will employ people who speak German for translating documents- so I won’t have to move to Dublin at least for a couple of years if I get a job there, thank Christ, (there is nothing majorly wrong with Dublin- it’s just too expensive and I dislike vast cities immensely). I’d be getting crappy wages for a couple of years but I won’t be throwing away at least €1000 a month on rent like if I was living in Dublin.
All round happy days now I just need to do well in my exams- I started a campaign to get rid of Christmas exams for final year students in my school as we have mock exams right after we come back from Christmas break so it doesn’t make sense to only be focusing on a small part of the course (for the Christmas exams) than what we need in the real Leaving Cert mocks (the entire bloody course).
To all posters: I’m sorry that I only am talking about my exams, you can tell me to shut up if you want and I won’t take offense. It doesn’t affect ye at all but I just need to whine to someone so thanks

Sounds like you have a well thought out sensible plan for the next few years @AppleScruffJunior. Good luck with your exams so you can carry it out to the letter. Out of interest (and apologies if you’ve said it before) but what is it you want to do when all the studying is out of the way fully passed?
And no need to apologise about the exam talk, i for one find it interesting. I like reading what folk are up to as its so much more interesting than what i am doing and i like that folk feel they can be open with their posts about how life is going – for better or worse. Its one of best things about this forum.

I just saw a shooting star.
I see them all the time on the tv and in films, most recently on CSI.
In all seriousness where were you when this sight sighting occured @Ahhh Girl.
One thing i’ve never got about this whole clocks going back thing is this idea of an extra hour in bed, surely its an extra hour to be awake.

Occasionally Westminster tables a discussion on ditching the switch but it would be to the detriment and safety of those up in the far north of Scotland as the kids would be walking to and from school in pitch blackness as well as a huge affect on farmers.
If England’s MP’s hadn’t promised us Scots lots of lovely shiny things with glitter on top then maybe gullible Scots wouldn’t have been attracted to the shiny pieces of fancy foil wrapper and would have said yes to independence leaving England to do what they liked. Well more fool them, they’re stuck with it.

@meanmistermustard, we were driving along a road way out in the country where there are very few lights. We were going from the restaurant to our house.

Though on the downside it makes international business harder since some people don’t use daylight saving times and those that do don’t always have it start on the same time the form starts at today but where I am starts a week later
