Offline Hmm.. must just be this thread then, that was going slow. I don’t know, I haven’t really noticed the schoolthing the last 2 years because I was very busy with school myself, but now that I’m really really unmotivated and spend more time on here, I start to notice it.

Offline I found my post in the introduction thread from when I joined, and I found the part that now makes me cringe:
…Favorite Beatle: It’s hard to say. For me, it’s the combination of John, Paul, George, and Ringo, and their individual talents, that made The Beatles great. Despite this, if I had to pick one, it would be the quiet one since I very much enjoy George’s guitar playing and his sometimes overlooked/underrated songwriting.
Did I honestly believe that anyone here thought otherwise? I’d have been rolling my eyes if I was another member reading that.

@Linde I was noticing a bit of a lull too (although my unread posts usually hover around 50 no matter what), but that seems to happen every Now And Then .
@Zig That’s probably true about the thanks. I’m glad that feature was implemented though, because you people are very entertaining and I remember triple and quadruple posting often to comment on each post before there was a thank button.
Now I probably just look like I thank everything, so maybe I should thank less and comment more again.

Offline Can we sue on the grounds of not matching its description of ‘all-black burger’ as its clearly not.
I ate an actual all-black burger (ie burnt black) when i was far younger, the outcome was neither pleasant, short-term or dignified.

Offline A few weeks ago my laptop went in for repairs as the mousepad was temperamental.
Having carried out an in-depth health check on it including running diagnostic tests it was returned to me having passed all checks with no need for repairs.
The mousepad was still temperamental so i took it back for them to do it again.
Today i got it back.
Having carried out an in-depth health check on it including running diagnostic tests it was returned to me having replaced the hard drive!! Haven’t got around to seeing about the mousepad.
I have a feeling they didnt like me returning it and are taking the piss.
