I wonder if there are any people who are over 100 years old who claim to be Beatlemaniacs. Were they Beatlemaniacs in the 1960’s?

What was your five things beginning with B, @Linde? Was at least one of them Beatle-ish?

It was taken at a pub so err..no. I can remember someone took off her bra and used that, there was beer of course, glasses (glasses in Dutch is ”bril”) and 2 other things I can’t recall.

They would have been born around 1914 and by the 1960’s they would have been among those who said, “turn down that racket!”. Or not.

I could think of no other place to put this, but I’m excited about the caller ringtone.

My regular ringtone is now “Hello Hello, I don’t know why you say goodbye I say hello…”

When you call my phone, instead of the ringing you hear “Please enjoy the music” and then “You can talk to me, you can talk to me, if you’re lonely you can talk to me <Ringo, Paul & George little 4 bar jam>”.

It’s the little things that make me appreciate technology a-hard-days-night-george-10

Speaking of Hey Bulldog , Paul’s bass line (if you can call it a line – it’s definitely not straight!) is one of the best I’ve heard.

Do you consider these two questions to be asking the same thing or do you see them quite differently? Would you give the same answer to both questions?

What is the best post-Beatles song by John Lennon ?

What is your favourite post-Beatles song by John Lennon ?

I think they’re quite different. The best song of his would be the most influential/popular, while the answer to the latter is much more subjective and can be totally different from the best song.

I don’t know how many people over 100 are living, but there are currently only seventy-two confirmed cases of living people over 110.

@Necko You can cure yourself, brother! Yes, you can!

Feel the love of the non-infected brethren going out to you in waves! It is within your fingertips. YOU can do it!

Take your left hand, brother, your left hand! (Unless you are left-handed, then take your right hand!) Open your hand right up. That’s it! All the way! And bring the palm to your forehead. Repeat to yourself in mock horror, “There is no Annademic, just change my avatar back! There is no Annademic, just change my avatar back!”

Then with your right hand, brother, (or your left hand if left-handed, see above), with your right hand, brother, reach for the computer keyboard. You can do it, brother, you have the strength. Reach for the keyboard, and open up your profile. You will be close to the cure here, brother.

Hit the avatar button, brother. Do not think about it, do not hesitate to take the penultimate step to freedom, my friend. Delete the bulgy-eyed, moustached Necko! Yes, purge the infection by deleting. Then, as you put the original back into place, repeat to yourself: “I am free! Praise the Beatles Bible! I AM FREE! PRAISE THE BEATLES BIBLE!…”

I´m Also Pandemic

He means he has the “pandemic” that is causing many of the members’ avatars appear to be screaming (or have mustaches, depending on how you look at it; see his avatar.) If I’m not mistaken, salviandres is 11 (12?) and Spanish, which is probably why that… really doesn’t seem to make sense.

Every time I turn around I see another young member :)   I just can’t believe how many fans there are under 18!  It’s great – good music will live on another generation!  And there are people of all ages just discovering the Beatles (including myself – while I’m a lifelong fan, I really rediscoverd them last year, I “have been awoken” to the Anthology sets the BBC and so much other stuff – new songs I’d never heard – it’s great.  I guess what I’m saying is the Beatles are great :)

My mom is 76 (26 in 1964).  She loves the Beatles. we saw Ringo together and she says it’s one of the best concerts she’s ever seen :)   Also, I play bridge (with a lot of people in their 60s-70s) ad I’ve met several fans in their 70s.  Over 100?  I don’t know about that.  Oh yeah, I’m in the states.  Also, over here people that age are more likely into 50s-60s pop, like Sinatra, Dean Martin, Motown, Righteous Bros. etc. than folk.
