Offline I went to see How To Train Your Dragon 2 today. And I liked it. And I don’t care if it was a movie for children.
Also, there was a reason why I went to that movie so it wasn’t like I went ”oh let’s go see a movie that’s for 5 year olds”

Offline I am very excited about this weekend. Zag and I are going to attend the finals of an Extreme Mustang Makeover Challenge on Saturday. For those not familiar, the event features trainers who are assigned a wild horse at random and are given only 100 days to tame it to the point where the horse can be adopted at auction. What makes it all the more exciting is the fact that one of this year’s participants is a trainer who works at the stables where our horse is boarded. Nate Eicher is no stranger to this competition and has won one in the past. Best of luck, Nate!!
There is a documentary film about this event called Wild Horse, Wild Ride that I highly recommend whether you are into horses or not. It is available on Netflix and other outlets as well. Here is the trailer.
The trainer does not get to keep the horse unless he or she outbids everyone else at the auction. It breaks your heart when the trainer loses the bidding, but ultimately, the horse wins and that’s what it’s all about.

Yeah, we are jazzed about the opportunity – especially since someone we know is competing. Nate is our farrier as well! We won’t be taking pics though, because we find that when we take pictures at any event, we miss more than half of what’s going on. Besides, if years from now my mind gets to the point where I can’t recall a great time, a picture will certainly do me no good anyway.
