No. It would harm the food in there and i generally take them wherever i go, its always been that way. I wear sandals out and about in the summer (if dry) and slippers around the house.

Well, besides me with Paul in my dreams.
I really like this “thinking-(or-drinking)-outside-of-the-box” idea. I can hear Tim McGraw and Faith Hill doing this as a rowdy country/rock duet. I think it works nicely as a “question-and-answer” song, it has the energy to whip a live audience into a frenzy, and it would help quiet those oft-murmured divorce rumors. I can really imagine this in a concert setting.

I didn’t see any of that in Georgia! I don’t know who drinks and jamborees on a highway, but didn’t see it goin on!
In SC, stopped for naps and then we’ll be back on the road. Our poor cat has been doing really well, but was a little freaked out when we brought (snuck 
) her into the hotel room. She’s happy as she can be (in this situation) again though, so all is good!
Now that I’ve mentioned her, an interesting story about her name… Which is Pattie (or Patty, we haven’t had to spell it really.) 
I don’t think I really knew about human Pattie a year ago when we got her (my life was so empty 
) but the people from the shelter said she was born on March 17th, St. Patricks Day, so we named her Pattie.
I’ve been wanting to read Pattie’s book, so I got the eBook sample and somewhere in the first chapter she mentions that her parents were expecting a boy, and not having put much thought into girl names named her Pattie when she was born on March 17th (4 days… And quite a few years before my birthday).
Possibly-interesting late night rambling over…

Offline @Bungalow Bob, genius! I would pay to see Tim and Faith singing that song. I can just feel the crowd’s reaction. I’ve seen Tim in concert – fantastic show. Faith is from my home state. Yeah, I’d be at that concert in a heartbeat.

Offline Hey Kite – If you are travelling up the East Coast, I assume you will be passing through Pennsylvania. Since a meeting is probably (unfortunately) not in the cards, I will just wish you safe passage through the state of independence. Enjoy your trip!

She’s a great cat, very loving but doesn’t really like to be held. She doesn’t hide away all day like a lot of cats though. Our last cat, who sadly had anemia and died (which apparently happens a lot with cats which I didn’t know) was always right near us, so it just took getting used to.

I’d like to meet you (while wearing a mask and voice changer), it’d be cool to meet a lot of you, but even if I wasn’t anonymous Kite, couldn’t this trip…
Won’t be just passing through PA though, stopping at some family’s house in a small town for a night or two before the final leg.
Btw, North Carolina! And making a surprise stop for a meal with more family… They’re everywhere!

I could get one of those darth vader masks that change your voice, that covers both!
@Linde That’s what I was thinking about yesterday. That whole countries are the size of these medium sized states were passing through.

Offline Had lunch with the earlier mentioned family member at the edge of NC, and just passed into Virginia, where we’ll be staying a night with family. They live near D.C. though, so pretty much the whole state to go.
