Anyone find it strange that you can’t search for “Joe” but you can for “Hey Joe” if there is a four-letter minimum on each word?  I wonder if it adds them up.

@ScrambledEggs, sorry about that. I posted here before realising it was in the wrong thread so shuffled it over to ‘in my life. Whats happening…” – truth be told i’m not too sure why we need both (and a handful of other threads too). As AG kindly posted above the wandering post has settled down and made a home here.

where folks were thanking @Joe for the Beatles Bible. I knew I’d seen at least one other thread on that topic, and it had “Joe” in the title of the thread.

I did a search using the forum search box to try to find the thread but it gave me the error message because Joe’s name is only 3 letters long. (Why didn’t I remember that was going to happen?) I played around and put – hey joe – in as my search terms (using the find any word option). It worked! I found the “Hey Joe” thread, and I found the thread I was looking for.

That search brought up lots of other threads. Even threads that have the word “they” in the thread title, but it wasn’t an overwhelming list to look through. So, perhaps you don’t need to use those wildcard characters when using the forum search box.?.? If I discover anything else about the search box, I will let you all know.

A heads up to anyone looking to view the above threads that i’ve merged those two with another and changed the title to ‘Some Gratitude And Thanks To Joe For The Beatles Bible‘ to help aid future searches. Whilst the link to the first one listed by AG currently works it will become inactive when Joe stumbles across a free few minutes to correct the url.

Anyone know a good cure for really sore feet? I’ve bathed them and put on the cream i get from the doctors but they are still incredibly sore. I have another appointment this coming wednesday where if the advice is more cream i might opt to get them removed permanently.

I just got my paycheck. The raise from my promotion is included! I thought it wouldn’t start until next month.
