And I’d wager that RN knows more about them than any of us. He is well read and an asset to our Forum.

@Ron Nastyyou take can’t credit for The Beatles without taking the blame for One Direction
No cherry picking, sir
I wasn’t!
You named one artist, I named another.
I didn’t bring up Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Hanson, Kelly Clarkson, the Jonus Brothers, Britney Spears, the Pussycat Dolls…

Erm… @mr-kite, if you’re referring to the automobile there, the accepted inventor (though there were others working on similar ideas – all European) was the German (as were many of the others) Karl Benz in 1879. What Ford invented, assuming it’s him you’re referring to, was the production line, so loved by workers in the decades since. The first American car was developed by the Duryea brothers in Springfield, Mass., in 1893.
I agree, that was a stupid generalization, especially since the idea was probably around since someone during the dawn of the Industrial Revolution looked at a horse and carriage. He however created the Model T, the first commercial automobile (made possible by the production line). Now that it was accessible by any average , people needed to decide which side of the road to drive on. Choosing the right (yes I know there’s much more than that simple conclusion but its true!).
And… One Direction…
Did I by any chance save myself from my stupid mistake? Close enough? No?

My school’s most popular band just turned down me writing a song for them.
They’re missing out
They sound like a bunch of Dick Rowe’s.

What are you doing? What happened to your WD-40? I thought that was very clever.
She has to go back to normal before another clever idea hits, otherwise we’ll never know who she is!
