Part of me wishes all of you worked here at the library with me. What a fun group of co-workers that would be!!!

But the other part of me figures I would get fired because I would spend too much time goofing off with y’all and not get my work done.

3 more hours to go before I get off work tonight.

@Ahhh Girl You’d get fired because we’d be crap! I can’t even spell dewey decimal system, let alone use one!

@Mimi I’m just now signing out so I got your happy message.

That’s o.k. @Ron Nasty. We don’t use the Dewey system. We use the Library of Congress system. I can teach it to you. I’m a great teacher. Very motivating.

@Ahhh Girl Well, well, well!!! Look at you, Ms Whiplash! “We don’t use the Dewey…” Nor do I! Even less likely to use your ex-Colonial version. You can’t spell English proper! You come up with some weird Library classification system! How are we meant to work in your library when you put all these conditions on us?

Ewww, strong smell of skunk as I walked out of the library.

Now back to happy thoughts.

You would enjoy every minute, @Ron Nasty. You’d be with me. a-hard-days-night-george-9 All those other minor differences could be easily overcome.a-hard-days-night-george-10

Do you have any of Kate Williams’ books? There’s six of them. Though the sixth hasn’t been published there yet. I won’t work in a library that doesn’t stock the wonderful Kate Williams!

So, no Kate Williams’ books? That’s not very good. So, you want me to sail across the Atlantic, while you’re making me frantic, apply for a green card, spend $15,000 to get necessary accreditation, and come to work in a library that doesn’t stock Kate Williams!!!??

Surely this untamed American free-spirited woman can’t make a calm, refined proper English gentleman frantic.

I am rarely calm or refined, and never proper! And you avoid the question, young lady, why no books by respected British historian Professor Kate Williams?

I’ve had a thought. If the Beatles cartoons were based on their songs, then what would a “Back In The USSR ” episode be like? Anybody got ideas??

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

The Beatles are booked to give a private concert for Brezhnev. It turns out they look exactly like four infamous double agents and require KGB protection. Somehow Ringo mucks everything up. Wackiness ensues.

^^ Every time I see AHDN , and they’re joking about Victor Spinetti’s sweater, and John jokes that the sweater knit him, I always think, “In Soviet Russia, sweater knits you.”

I forgot to add that at some point, either Paul or George needs to end up in a babushka.

Good idea!

I was flipping through the Sirius XM channels and I found a children’s sing-along channel with popular songs. Do you know what was playing? Octopus’s Garden !!! It makes me mad because it means that no one takes Ringo’s stuff seriously!!!!! I know it sounds like a children’s song but you need to have Ringo respected as a writer!!! I do wish he would write more for his 40+ year solo career!!!

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.
