I just heard another thing the Beatles sing about that you can’t buy. It is in a song in the normal collection of Beatles songs (not outake, Get Back sessions, or anything like that).
I will give you all a little time to come up with an answer.

Ahhh Girl wondered
Are all the letters of the alphabet used at least once in a Beatles song? If not, which letters are not used?I’m pretty sure they’re all used at some point.
All My Loving , Because , Come Together , Drive My Car , Every Little Thing , For No One , Get Back , Honey Pie , If I Fell , “get back, Jojo”, Maxwell’s Silver Hammer , “got me escaping from this zoo”, “You and I have memories…”
That should about cover it!
(Assuming you don’t just mean specifically titles or lyrics.)
Thank you, @Bulldog. Is that the fewest number of songs you need to have all the letters covered? If not, what would be the fewest?

In terms of lyrics, Maxwell’s Silver Hammer alone should cover it. The first verse and chorus contain all the letters, I believe.
If you're lonely (or not!), you can talk to me. .....Hey! Are you a new member on this fine forum and don't know where to go to introduce yourself?
Well, you can do it here! Dig it?

Does anybody know if there are any swear words used in the lyrics of a Beatles song. I can only think of Piggies -“What they need’s a **** good whacking”. Does anybody know any others?

It’s mostly just solo stuff (Working Class Hero , Big Boys Bickering, etc.) – there’s the “We’ll f**k you like a Superman” thing, but I really can’t hear it. I hear it as “We’ll all be magic Supermen”.

John (or Paul depending on your persuasion) says “f*****g hell” faintly in Hey Jude after the last “then you begin” before it goes into the coda. Once you hear it you’ll never go back.
Paul says “oh s**t” in the Penny Lane A Day In The Life outtake on Anthology 2 and John also says “oh s**t” during the Happiness Is A Warm Gun demo on Anthology 3 . Talking incorrectly of Penny Lane George(?) repeats “f**k” a few times at the end of the Anthology 2 remix outtake.

All I could think of (aside from unreleased stuff) is “git” in “I’m So Tired “, apparently a mild profanity suggesting “b*****d”.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

How can it be Paul if Paul’s singing lead?

No idea, presumably earlier on during the recording and left in – i really don’t want to go there. Some folk hear Paul, some folk hear John. I’ve learned to not only not to question but not to care; its not worth pages and pages and pages and pages of boring, repetitive arguments discussions that only go round and round in circles. If anyone is even thinking of doing so please go and read the ‘Ah’s – A Day In The Life ‘ thread first.

Speaking of which, I’m going to record my three-times-as-long version of ADITL tomorrow, with the new verses that I wrote. Wish me luck.

@trcanberra, i see Australia has a new sporting hero in the shape of Nick Kyrgios who thumped Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon today. Is he said to be as good Lleyton Hewitt was? What about Pat Cash?
