Also, a step-cousin liked to make a joke about the alleged violent nature of the sport: “If an opposing player hits you with his stick, and you don't retaliate, YOU get a penalty!”

Least favourite sport? Well I'm far from a sports fan per se, much less a participant; but of the North American “big four” I hate football the most – in both its American and Canadian variations. Either way, it just bores me silly.

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

For me, I get bored by baseball more readily than Football, but that could be because the bnreaks between plays actually matter in Football.

*17* The Universe agrees.

Edit: Canadian Football has a bit longer of a field, has only 3 downs, and is inferior.

I'm not really into sports, but I have played golf

Favourite: Curling can be rather interesting. (Also Canadian)

LeastFav: Lots bore me, but football can annoy quite a bit

I hate sports, too. The one I can most tolerate is baseball, but that’s probably because I know all the rules. And because of the way the hott players look in those pants. WOO!!

Ahem, anyway … I also enjoy hockey games. The fights are the best parts. But I detest [American] football. Boring.

My favorite sport would have to be Basketball, because I kinda know the rules and I don’t fail at attempting to play it. My least favorite is most of the others, except for hockey, which is cool.

That reminds me of a statistic my cousin told me once: That the average baseball game consists of an average of – get this – 12 minutes of actual playing time! In other words, 12 minutes during which the ball is actually in play, and not merely being returned to the pitcher by the catcher or being tipped foul or etc. 12 minutes of playing time for a game that takes 3 hours to complete. I have no idea where she got that statistic from, but it's fascinating.

Baseball bores me to death. When I watch it I realize that it is way more fun for the people playing the game rather than watching it.

I grew up a die-hard Bruins fan, and still like watching the game. I don't follow it obsessively as I used to, but I have no idea how such a dynamic sport is overlooked by most Americans.

I'm oddly enough rarely bored by sports. The only one's I can't stand to watch though are soccer and golf even though I play golf. But I think the sport I'm most into watching is hockey. I'm a pretty big Blackhawks fan (the current holders of the Stanely Cup) mainly because their the only team close to where I live.

*9* Maybe that means the Blackhawks will win the Stanely Cup again?

I hate watching sports.

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 Oh right, I sometimes forget that Curling also relates to Beatles.
