One of my neighbours died over the weekend. People were getting worried because nobody had seen him since Friday and he hasn’t been too well recently. Me and another couple of neighbours broke into his flat and found him in bed. I didn’t know him that well, but he was always nice enough. Looked like he just went to bed and didn’t wake up, so it doesn’t seem as if he suffered.

Just feel a bit bad that the poor guy had been there since maybe Friday night.

What a discovery to make. Hope you are o.k. after that experience.

I’m very sorry to hear that @Ron Nasty . I would like to wish his family and friends my condolences.

Being left handed, it’s a Pita to find a really nice left handed guitar. What I really want is something like this:

lp1.jpgImage Enlarger

It’s a 1959 Gibson Les Paul sunburst left-handed. There are only two of these known in existence. One was sold at auction for $140,000. Guess who owns the other one?

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

It was very decent of you and the neighbors to check up on the gentleman – you’re a good man. I echo AG‘s sentiments – hope you are OK after that discovery.

I’m thinking of writing a song called, “No Money, No Bunny”. What do you think?

Its coming up to half 2 in the morning, its 15 degrees Celsius, there is no breeze, both windows are open and its uncomfortably hot.

This is Scotland, if its 15 degrees during the day we think its a scorcher.

It was 35 degrees Celsius when I mowed this afternoon.

EDIT: @meanmistermustard, I do hope you can get some good sleep tonight despite the heat.

Sheesh, what do you do in 90 degree heat (speaking in Fahrenheit, of course).

You get hot. Very hot. And drink lots of water.

What’s really fun is 95 degrees and 95% humidity. We have that some here, but it is worse in Mississippi and Louisiana.

If during the day sit in the shade doing nothing. If at night then the world is ending – tho if Scotland ever gets 90 degrees Fahrenheit during the day then the world will be ending.

Its nearly 5am, i took sleeping pills at 1/2 3 and i’m still awake, only change is i feel a bit sick. Today is going to be really productive. More concerning however is this is the second time in three nights, i only slept the other night due to lack of sleep, and for the last week i keep waking up at silly hours. I normally can fall asleep just by lying down and closing my eyes. Damn health!!!

I’m hoping this is so damn dull and tedious that sleep comes.

No, it’s not. Good guess though!a-hard-days-night-john-6 That’ just the title. Back in the late 70s early 80s there used to be a Volkswagen factory in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania (anybody used to work there). The workforce went on strike to get a bigger paycheck.  They built the Volkswagen Rabbit at the factory, so their tagline was, “No money, No bunny”.

That being said, the actual song isn’t about factory workers going on strike.paul-mccartneya-hard-days-night-john-6a-hard-days-night-george-10a-hard-days-night-ringo-10

It’s okay. I’m watching it right now. Holland did excellent against Spain last time. They definitely didn’t get their rear ends kicked!

Australia have been the better side in the first half. Cahill is out of the Spain game however which will be a huge loss.

I’m sure everybody’s seen this photograph. However I’ve got a friend who doesn’t know  where that picture came from. Can you help me explain it where it came from?

It was used in the rock band game:
