Color doesn’t need a U. We made the language have less unnecessary letters like U since you don’t pronounce that U it is pointless

It makes the language easier when you can sound out color to spell color. You can’t even hear a U in there.

So do you spell gnome “nome” or knife “nife”?
What about all of these?

Is there an ongoing campaign to do so?
I think there is. Texting-type spelling is all we will have left. I’m not sure how many decades it will take. I wonder if I will see that ploy come to fruition in my lifetime.

I think your real, true grammar is better than the stuff you throw out onto the forum. I think you know better. We have had some folks who really didn’t know better.
Composite ACT score = grammar and spelling skills.

Tht wd b horrible! (That was my attemp at text typing, but when I text I just write everything out so that’s probably better than it would be.
Ron, I am an American and I can’t understand why we call it soccer. You use your feet to kick a ball! (American) Football (which I think is a stupid game) barely uses feet other than to run a short distance and stop again for twenty minutes before three more seconds of play.
Sadly if you say football here people will assume you mean that horrid game so you need to say soccer.
MMM, as I have stated before I don’t know why we messed with a perfectly functional language, maybe pronouncing words without those letters is what made Anerican accents. I will still spell it color, however, as long as I live in this country.

Its shaped more like a rugby ball to be honest.
But then what do you expect from a country that cant spell colour properly?
Hey meanmm, did you notice that I went back and edited that one post I sent today, changing “hockey game” to “ice hockey match” in deference to you UK folks?
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

No but considering they’re totally different games i’m glad you did. There is quite a big difference between the two what with the ice and getting slammed into the boards at god knows which speed.

I can buy that, Anna always has interesting ideas and stuff she probably does know the grammar, or just doesn’t care. Like Sherlock Holmes, he only knew what would help him in life and his profession, a lot in those areas and minimal in others as not to take up important space.
