Ah, my entire knowledge of the Bible only covers about the last week of his life, and ends with his death (no resurrection), because my entire knowledge of the Bible comes from Jesus Christ Superstar.
Ha, I read the first part of that sentence on the “New Forum Posts” page and immediately assumed you were talking about THIS ‘bible!
I like JC Superstar too, except I like a combination of that 1970 one and the ’73 movie soundtrack. (Carl Anderson does a much better job as Judas than Murray Head.)
Ah, I actually had a twitter rant on just that subject last night. I far prefer the 1970 Ian Gillan headed version to the ’73 version. It’s so much more forceful than the movie one. To me, the entire thing sounds more full and forceful, all performances (especially Jesus. He’s so weak on the ’73 one.) I prefer Judas in the ’70 one too. The movie one just sounds so empty.
EDIT for what Anna said, I’ve never seen the movie, but I love the original album
I recommend you see the movie it is interesting

Offline Wait … did somebody say I was kidnapped?? No! I wasn’t!!
I’m sorry, is it a joke right? No no no I wasn’t kidnapped, and I never will *knocks on wood*. I am fine. thank God my family and I are fine, and all my friends are ok. Some of them have fleed my hometown but thank God we are fine.
but I am, as the Bee Gees say, Staying Alive. Somedays I am fine, working, reading books, drinkiing coffee with my friends, writing and going to concerts and enjoying life, and other days, like today when I lost count of the times the helicopters flew so close to the roof of my work, and I just want to cry. But I think “I am not going to let this m***********s ruin my life” and I move on. I am now seriously considering taking meditation or yoga classes to help me find my inner peace.
About my degree my dissertation work is done, I got great results and I am proofreading it. I hope I can get my degree by August.
And.. what else?? Oh I have two Beatles short stories published in an online magazine, they were written in Spanish, I’m going to translate them in English and create a blog to publish them there. This is a project I had many years ago, to write a short story about Beatles songs. they are not fanfic though. The first one, Norwegian Wood , is about my experienence after reading Haruki Murakamii’s book. The second short story, was based in something a young Beatle fan I know said about the song I’ve Just Seen A Face .
And that’s it… I am a huge Person of Interest and Hannibal fan… and I love The Hunger Games books. So, that has happened with my life. Sorry for the rant guys, I really needed to vent a bit.
And I’m so glad that you remember me when you see George on top of that mountain.
