I just love the fact that this thread has turned Eurovision-heavy. As an American nothing like this really takes over the landscape here except for the Super Bowl (well, American Idol used to in its early days) so it’s fun to see how huge Eurovision is that many of our European posters are commenting on it.
It comes and goes as far as popularity is concerned. Back when I was younger we used to think it was really naff because it was all so MoR.

My grandad’s Irish. He’s drunk 24/7.But seriously (that was serious though), I like Ireland. Never been, but the accents are cute. Not as cute as Scottish though.
I never said the Irish didn’t get drunk, did I? If somehow Ireland’s supply of alcohol ran out my family would be able to keep our province alcohol fueled for about 2 days, no joke.
I do agree about the Scottish accent being cute though (once it’s understandable so that narrows it down quite a bit ) Although my cousins are Scottish so it does kind of ruin it for me
^Someone can post that on the Pet Peeves thread and possibly a stereotype thread!
And awww stop it with your Ireland-love posts I was in the ladybirds/brownies when I was a wee sprite so we might have crossed paths @Starr Shine? There’s no point going to Ireland if you’re only going to stay in Dublin though (Can ye tell I dislike Dublin?), either head west, south or go up to Northern Ireland (but you know obviously spend some money in the Republic first :P)

Can’t even remember the song nor the act! Surely it wasn’t as bad as Macedonia or Poland? Now THAT was ambarrassing. Poland made the finals though.
So did the woman with the beard, who wasn’t that bad actually. Don’t really understand why ”she” is so special either. There are tranny’s participating all the time.

(Video above.)
Thanks, mmm! Mom and I really enjoyed the song just now.
EDIT: lol, I just read back through this thread. I’m glad @Zig took care of the posts for @meanmistermustard. We didn’t need any cussing in a Scottish accent on the forum

Yes, but what’s the name of the song?
Sorry, it’s still a bit early there. Is there a joke I’m missing?

I decided to bring up the courage to go into school again today. That was the worst idea I’ve ever had.
But not the worst idea thats ever been so you are still ahead of the game and therefore keep going.

I was walking to my bed in the dark and I felt my socks became suddenly wet. I turned on the light and a squished slug was mushed into the carpet WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY COMING FROM???
I hovered my entire room, the little backstards why did they choose my room? Stay out in the garden like ye’re meant to!

Have you thought of changing schools or looking for alternative educational thingies?

Thing is, I don’t really want to move schools. I’ve been working outside of lessons, but the thing is that I’m thinking about it all constantly, even when I’m at home. People do care about me at school, but it’s almost as if nobody but her is affecting me in any way whatsoever. It doesn’t help that I’ve finished taking my antidepressants and I’m more anxious than ever. If I moved schools, I’d still constantly be worried about what’s going on there and if people are happy that I’ve left or whatever. I’m off for another week or so now whilst my new meds set in, but I still have to do schoolwork at home and it’s just too much hassle and I just want a break from it. Granted, I’ve had one already, but I wasn’t expecting to have to play catch-up for every subject which means loads and loads of work which is just overwhelming me. I’m scared, TBH.
