I like Buddy Holly. He's pretty good. (And I just learned he played the violin as well.) And is it possibly because Peggy Sue and Oh Boy! went to number 1 on the charts on the 20th in 1958?

Offline That could be the bug in the background of a Mexican “Abbey Road .” 🙂
I had to tell you guys about this: I heard yesterday that people on American Idol are supposed to sing a bunch of Beatles songs soon … ? Idk, a woman I work with told me about it because she watches it. I’ve never seen it. But I might tune in just for that one (although they’ll probably butcher their songs). Or at least I’ll catch the YouTube vids later. Does anyone watch that show and know what I’m talking about?

Offline It's on Wednesday. I learned on Friday because my friend Liz said, “So are you going to watch American Idol next week?” and I responded with an I guess so, why? and then she had to say “They're singing Beatle's songs.” So now I am going to watch it, even though this season has been a disappointment to me.

Offline My friend told me about the Beatles songs next week on idol, and I may watch it, even though I am sure they won't do very well on the songs. She told me they were doing a version of the Cirque de Soliel Love show on the show, but I am not too sure if that is happening, so I will check.

Maybe. I looked around and they are doing the show, so it may just limit the song choices.
